Vinyl selection under the arches of Lab11

On the Lab11 dancefloor, Alexandria has turned vinyl into her signature. She arrived at that Birmingham venue as a clubber for TRMNL nights and stayed on as one of the regular selectors in a circuit that, for years, grew in the shadows with parties like Penda and Cloak and Dagger. Her sound relies on minimal grooves that move unhurriedly, layers of deep house, and higher-voltage cuts, always with one hand on the deck and the other reading the crowd.

The turning point was her first Sunwaves Festival: there, she fully understood the underground scene that defines her sets today. At home, the drum and bass her brother has always played—from DJ Hazard onwards—still emerges as a rhythmic memory. Before living off her bookings, she worked with Red Bull managing the Lab11 account: the club saw her grow from both sides of the booth.

The call from You&Me and the big rooms

The international leap came with a message from Kurt, her manager at You&Me, the label and party platform run by Josh Baker. Her debut at 93 Feet East in London remains her favorite set. Since then, she has played at Amnesia, fabric, The Warehouse Project, Chris Stussy's Amsterdam Weekender, the Pyramid terrace at Cova Santa, the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, and the Hide & Seek festival. In 2026, she is part of the You&Me weekly residency at Amnesia and has recorded a vinyl live set at HÖR Berlin.

In the booth, she adapts without losing her criteria: she likes to bring out the darker, more stripped-back side when the dancefloor calls for it, and she knows when not to force the pedagogy. Vinyl is not an ornament: it is the method.

From home edits to Take You Higher

In 2026, she released her first official work, the EP Take You Higher, on Nothing Stays The Same, Mella Dee's label. The record includes the title track, Soul, Salvation, and Freak of Nature featuring vocalist Darnell, and follows free edits like Wildfire and Chord to the floor. She produces from her bedroom and mixes in the dining room while setting up her studio.

Off the dancefloor, she has starred in Adidas and JD Sports campaigns where she champions an unretouched image. In a circuit saturated with filters, her brand is that of a Birmingham selector who has gone from Lab11 to the terraces of Ibiza without ever letting go of vinyl.
