Naples as a compass and resonance chamber

The sea, the nocturnal pulse of Naples, and a physical energy that is hard to contain articulate the language of Anfisa Letyago. Born in Mirny, in the Russian Siberia, she moved to southern Italy at 17 and found in the Neapolitan scene the environment that turned her curiosity for the dancefloor into a profession. She began mixing in 2009-2010, after saving up to buy her first CDJs, and trained by performing frequently in local clubs. An early session in front of nearly two thousand people at Duel Beat reinforced two traits that continue to define her: direct reading of the audience and physical commitment in the booth.

The USB that opened the door to Intec

After focusing on production, she released Stop Talking with Leroy Styles on Spinnin’ Records in 2016. That work showed a side close to house, but her path hardened toward denser bass, marked percussion, and techno built around the groove. The turning point came in 2018, when she traveled to Sicily to hand Carl Cox a USB with her own music. Cox began playing her tracks and facilitated her entry into Intec Digital, where So Good and Hypnotic appeared. Consolidation continued with releases like Bright Lights, Electrifying, and I’d Rather B, and with a presence in the catalogs of Nervous Records, Hotflush, Rekids, Kompakt, and Deutsche Grammophon.

NSDA: islands, voice, and submerged worlds

In 2021, she launched NSDA, a label inspired by Nisida, the small volcanic island in the Gulf of Naples. The EPs Listen and Nisida opened a more introspective phase and a platform that has featured originals or remixes by DJ Rush, Answer Code Request, Marcel Dettmann, Exos, and Anastasia Kristensen. Her own voice also gained prominence in pieces like Rosso Profondo, Feelin, In My Arms, Radar, and Confusion. The artistic relationship with Moby evolved from her remix of Go to You & Me, a collaboration in which she participated as a producer and vocalist. Later, noted. records, a Sony Music label, expanded that crossover between club, melody, and narrative through Feelin, Origami, and the Bubbledance EP. The same aquatic imagination took scenic form in Partenope, an audiovisual show inspired by the siren linked to the Neapolitan foundational myth.

Maximum energy, global scale

Her sets link hypnotic techno, classic school percussion, trance impulses, and tension shifts without losing rhythmic continuity. That combination has taken her to Cercle, Awakenings, Time Warp, EXIT, and BBC Radio 1, among other platforms and international events. In 2024, she received the DJ of the Year award from Billboard Italia Women in Music. Her current position is supported by a rare balance: she maintains the forcefulness necessary for a massive dancefloor, but uses the voice, the sea, memory, and Naples as materials for an increasingly personal body of work.
