A decade between Ibiza and the Alps

Ardent's identity has been built on the constant transit between the summer DJ booths of Ibiza and the mountain clubs of the French Alps. Originally from Belfast, he consolidated his full-time professional activity in 2016, and in 2026 he faces his tenth season on the island, where he has become a regular presence in both high-energy sessions and formats conceived for the sunset.

House for different dancefloor moments

His musical language starts from house and adapts to the context without losing continuity: it can advance from afro and melodic grooves to deep house passages, organic house, and Chicago rhythms with a more jacking approach. Among his declared influences are Dennis Cruz, Black Coffee, Kerri Chandler, Joris Voorn, and Bicep, references that help to understand a selection based on pulse, progression, and energy control. This versatility allows him to move between a daytime dancefloor at O Beach Ibiza, a club session, a sunset terrace, or a musical journey at sea.

An Ibizan map made of residencies

Ardent maintains an ongoing relationship with House in Paradise at O Beach Ibiza, in addition to regular appearances at Ibiza Rocks and Pukka Up. His journey on the island includes performances for Pacha Destino, 528, Eden, Pikes, and Café Mambo, along with more relaxed sessions on the terrace of Sensatori and on the A Day in Paradise cruises. He also promoted Rhythm of Tulum at Itaca Ibiza, a proposal focused on afro, melodic, and organic house. In 2026, he also took on the position of artistic and promotional manager for Zuva, an afro and latin house concept presented at O Beach Ibiza, and expanded his radio facet as a presenter on Ibiza Global Radio.

High-altitude seasons and the selector's craft

During the winter, his calendar shifts to Val Thorens and Val d’Isère. The 2025-2026 season saw him return as a resident of La Folie Douce, within an alpine trajectory that has also passed through Doudoune Club, Le Malaysia, 360, and Dick’s Tea Bar, later IMA. Added to this are performances linked to the Amsterdam Dance Event and a regular publication of sessions for platforms and radio spaces, including the The Forecast series for Ibiza Club News Radio and live recordings from O Beach and Cala Tarida. His current position is supported by a decade of residencies, musical programming, and technical experience in front of very different audiences.
