From CDMX to the Afrodise ritual

Aaron Sevilla Padilla is a Mexican DJ and producer from Mexico City, one of the most visible figures in Latin American afro house. His career began in 2012, first from the DJ booth and shortly after through music production. In 2013 he traveled through Europe, an experience that expanded his contact with club culture, and by 2015 he returned to Mexico to reactivate his performances and develop his own structure around electronic music. Before becoming a global name in afro house, he built a foundation in capital city clubs like AM Local, Americana Club Social, and Janis.

Percussion, Latin roots, and global dancefloor

His sound is based on Afro House, Latin House, Organic House, and high-energy tribal grooves. Sevilla works with intense percussion, infectious vocals, and warm melodies that connect the spirituality of African rhythm with Latin identity. That signature is recognized in tracks like Arriba Abajo, Semana, Cenizas, Bedouin, Tatuaje, Oye Mi Canto, El Flamenco with Mestiza, A Tu Vera, Two Aladins with HUGEL and Vasco C, and La Saeta. Since 2021 he has reached prominent positions, including number one on the Beatport Afro House chart and the Traxsource Afro Latin ranking.

Pulse Wave, Afrodise, and community

In addition to his work as a producer, Aaron Sevilla has been a scene builder. With Pulse Wave, he developed a platform for bookings, a radio show, promotion, streaming, and artist support. Later, he consolidated Afrodise as a movement, label, event brand, and his own sonic ritual. His universe combines music, natural locations, Latin culture, and an aesthetic of collective celebration that has expanded from Mexico to Ibiza, Dubai, Mykonos, Tulum, and other club destinations.

A Mexican ambassador of afro house

His international projection includes performances linked to Ultra Music Festival Mexico, Burning Man Project, Medusa Sunbeach Mexico, Baum Bogotá, European clubs, Afrodise parties, and audiovisual sets recorded on beaches and high-impact spaces. In 2024 he performed over 150 shows across several continents, and in 2025 he reinforced his position with a debut at Tomorrowland and residencies in Ibiza, Mykonos, and Dubai. He currently maintains an active presence on international stages and on Afrodise Radio, bringing Mexican afro house to an ever-growing audience.
