A DJ on the road and a producer in the studio

On the stages of Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Electric Daisy Carnival, the audience usually sees only one Bassjacker behind the decks. The other remains in the studio. That division—a showman in the booth and a producer in the back room—has defined the duo from Tilburg since 2007: high school friends who turned a shared hobby for house into one of the most recognizable big room labels in the Netherlands.

Mush Mush, Crackin, and the Spinnin' orbit

The first international push came in 2011, when Tiësto released Mush Mush on Musical Freedom. The track stayed in the Beatport top 10 for over two months and made its way into sets by Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Swedish House Mafia. Before that, an early cut had caught the attention of Fedde Le Grand; starting with Mush Mush, they went on to play Ultra in Miami, EDC in Las Vegas, and, in 2013, their debut at Tomorrowland. Collaborations followed with Dyro (Grid), R3hab (Raise Those Hands, on Calvin Harris's Fly Eye), and Martin Garrix (Gamer). The definitive breakthrough was Crackin: the Garrix edit, released on Spinnin' Records in January 2014, climbed to the top of Beatport, entered the Dutch charts, and left a music video with over fifteen million views. Wave Your Hands, with Thomas Newson, gave them their first number one on Beatport.

From The Biggest album to festival bouncy rave

Their catalog expanded through Revealed Recordings, Smash the House, Wall Recordings, and Protocol Recordings, with tracks like Savior, Derp alongside MAKJ, What We Live For with Afrojack, Memories with KSHMR, and Sound Barrier with Coone. They have remixed Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Moby, and Ne-Yo. In 2015, they debuted in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs at number 39, and in 2022 they achieved their best ranking: number 27. On November 22, 2019, they released their studio album The Biggest on Spinnin', featuring guests such as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Steve Aoki.

The Les Pays Bass series turns the Netherlands into a stage brand. In recent years, the duo has shifted towards a more bounce and rave festival sound, with reinterpretations of classics—Traffic on Musical Freedom, All Around the World, Bla Bla Bla, or Beethoven's Aria Für Elise—and mainstage sets, including the Great Library at Tomorrowland 2025. In the 2025 DJ Mag poll, they hold the 45th position and continue on the world circuit, with Tomorrowland Belgium 2026 already announced on the mainstage.
