A club story with nomadic roots

Bedouin's imagery is recognized by a form of immersive house that moves like a journey: warm percussion, hypnotic melodies, vocals treated as narrative material, and a sensibility that unites Middle Eastern heritage, Western education, and global club culture. The duo formed by Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe took shape in New York after a period of intensive studio work, and soon consolidated its own identity within the deep and melodic scene. Their music does not rely solely on dancefloor functionality; it seeks to create long, emotional, and cinematic atmospheres, with space for improvisation, song, and instrumental texture.

Saga as its own territory

The project's international evolution is linked to Burning Man, where the duo found a space for social, cultural, and musical experimentation since 2012 that decisively influenced their aesthetic. From there, Bedouin began taking their sound to high-profile stages and clubs such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Art Basel, Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Scorpios, and Wynn Las Vegas. In 2017, Saga was born, their concept and residency in Ibiza, conceived as an immersive experience rather than just a simple club night. The brand grew with carefully curated programming, visual storytelling, and a very personal interpretation of melodic house, eventually receiving the Best Night in Ibiza award at the 2019 DJ Awards. In 2025, Saga opened a new chapter at Chinois Ibiza, maintaining its focus on long-form sonic journeys.

Human By Default and the leap to the album

In the studio, Bedouin has released music on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Nervous Records, Circoloco Records, and All Day I Dream, in addition to signing remixes for Black Coffee and Virgil Abloh released on Ultra and Sony/Universal. In 2020, they launched their own label, Human By Default, with the EP Whistleman, reinforcing a platform designed for their sonic universe and like-minded artists. Their revision of Pink Floyd's Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun was recognized as an Essential New Tune in 2017, and their two appearances on the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, in 2016 and 2020, expanded their prestige as selectors. In 2022, their hybrid session for Cercle in Petra, Jordan, became one of their most iconic audiovisual documents. The debut album Temple of Dreams, released in 2023 by Human By Default, condensed years of compositions, collaborations, and original songs, positioning Bedouin as a contemporary house project with a recognizable voice, between the dancefloor, live performance, and cultural narrative.
