From the booth to the Defected ecosystem

A combination of immediate vocal hooks, tech house percussion, and festival energy has marked Beyond Chicago's rise within the new British house generation. The duo burst onto the scene in 2021 with a debut at Creamfields, a support tour alongside Majestic, and radio backing from names like Joel Corry, Sam Divine, and Charlie Hedges. That same momentum led to their first record deal with D4 D4NCE, Defected's platform, and a summer residency at Ibiza Rocks alongside Majestic.

Songs conceived for peak time

In 2022, they consolidated the project with Party, Freedom —alongside Joe Killington— and Every Little Thing, three tracks released via D4 D4NCE that established their language: punchy foundations, direct choruses, and production oriented towards both dance radio and the dancefloor. The season included a fourteen-date UK tour as guests of Example, as well as performances at Snowboxx, Boardmasters, and a return visit to Creamfields.

The commercial breakthrough arrived in 2023 with Million Dollar Bill, a collaboration with Majestic and Alex Mills that reinterpreted the classic associated with Whitney Houston from a contemporary house perspective. The track reached number one on the UK Hot 50 and the TikTok viral chart, hit 18 on The Official Big Top 40, and 70 on the UK Official Singles Chart. Its reach was extended with remixes by Todd Edwards, Belters Only, and Seamus Haji, in addition to a VIP version by Majestic. That year they also released Touchdown.

Ibiza as a second stage

During 2024, they returned to the road with Example on a seventeen-date tour in front of more than 30,000 people and together they signed Skyscanner. The summer reinforced their bond with Ibiza: they debuted at Wild Corner at Hï Ibiza, performed at DRUMSHEDS for Defected, and held a D4 D4NCE residency at O Beach. This was added to by dates in Malta, Malia, and Saudi Arabia, and festivals such as Reading, Parklife, TRNSMT, and New World Festival. In the studio, Need You, with Janai, expanded their catalog via Solotoko, Sonny Fodera's label.

A catalog that continues to break new ground

The subsequent stage has kept the focus on the club. Fire To The Roof appeared in 2025 within Re:Set, and in February 2026 the duo released the Bad Jam EP, consisting of Bad Jam and What Is It. In July came Call Me Back, a collaboration with Beave for Isekai Records. With recurring performances in Ibiza and a repertoire that alternates between vocal house, tech house cuts, and high-impact re-edits, Beyond Chicago occupies a connecting position between the accessibility of British dance and the functional pressure of international dancefloors.
