The first Panorama Bar mix still sounds like her

When Panorama Bar opened in 2004, Luciano invited her to DJ during the first month of the Cadenza night. The club kept her on as a resident: one date a month for three years and, in 2006, Ostgut Ton commissioned her for Panorama Bar 01, the first official mix for the upstairs room at Berghain. She recorded it with two turntables and a mixer, no computer, and established a way of crossing deep house, minimal techno, and a groove that kept no one at the bar.

From the Austrian choir to the Flex booths

Born in Kingston upon Thames and raised in the Austrian countryside—Austrian mother, Barbadian father—she grew up surrounded by soul, jazz, and new wave. At age five, she entered a music school and sang in a children's choir; at the family inn, she crossed paths with Sun Ra, Archie Shepp, and Lester Bowie. In nineties Vienna, she frequented Soul Seduction, bought vinyl at Black Market, and saw Kruder & Dorfmeister up close. After three years of theater in London, she returned to Vienna, started singing over electronic music, and, encouraged by Electric Indigo, got behind the decks. Her first gig was at Flex. Miss Kittin took her to Geneva, where she met Luciano, Quenum, and Sonja Moonear. She sang on Elin's Music Takes Me Higher and Zombie Nation's Unload, and her work with Dave the Hustler placed her in the minimal techno circuit.

Berlin, Hard Wax, and the international circuit

In 2003, she moved to Berlin. She worked for over two years at Hard Wax, collaborated with Ricardo Villalobos, Steve Bug, and Mathew Jonson, and released music on Perlon, Playhouse, Uzuri, and her own label, Cassy. Cocoon brought her to the Amnesia terrace: she was the first woman on their lineups alongside Sven Väth, Villalobos, and Richie Hawtin, with a residency in 2009 and 2010. Later, she made Circo Loco at DC-10 her Ibiza home. She left Berlin in 2010: a residency at the Rex Club in Paris and another at Trouw in Amsterdam followed. Then came Simply Devotion (Cocoon, 2009), Cocoon Heroes with Joris Voorn (2012), and fabric 71 (2013). In 2016, she released Donna on Aus Music, co-produced in Philadelphia with King Britt, featuring her vocals on almost every track and a cover of Prince's Strange Relationship.

Kwench, the 808, and a second life on the dancefloor

In 2017, she founded Kwench Records, a house and techno label featuring names like Ron Trent, Fred P, DJ Sneak, or Steve Bug. After a hiatus in 2020 and returning to Austria, she picked up vinyl again—the Talking About My Records series—the Roland 808, and the On Topic show on Rinse FM. In 2023, she released the EP E.T. Ascension; in September 2025, It's Time, the 40th release in the Kwench catalog. Today, she is touring European clubs and festivals again, with worldwide booking through LittleBig Music Agency.
