The Soul of Fabrik

César Almena, born in Madrid, Spain, is one of the backbones of Techno on the Iberian Peninsula. His name is synonymous with CODE, the party he co-founded in 2003 and which transformed the Fabrik nightclub into a global temple for the genre. Starting his career in 1996, César went through several residencies until finding his true calling: creating a massive movement that would put Madrid on the global electronic music map.

CODE: 20 Years of History

César Almena's story is the story of CODE. What began as a monthly session for a thousand people in Coslada became, under his direction and that of his partner Nuke, a mass phenomenon. CODE is not just a party; it is an institution that has hosted all the legends of Techno, from Carl Cox to Jeff Mills. As a resident, César has been the perfect host, warming up the dance floor for the big names or closing the night with impeccable technique and a musical selection designed for the dance floor.

Inexhaustible Energy

Known for his dynamism behind the decks, Almena possesses a special ability to read gigantic crowds. His style is energetic, fun, and technically precise, avoiding elitist purism in favor of a real connection with the audience. In addition to his residency at Fabrik and Ekho Club, he has taken his sound to the best clubs in Europe and has released music on his own labels, Code Rec and Reset Music Rec, proving that after more than 25 years, his passion for Techno remains intact.
