Nantes house with the Loire as a horizon

Dan Bono's nights don't start on an international flyer: they start at the Warehouse in Nantes, on a cruise sailing down the estuary, or on a dancefloor that has been called Paradise for a quarter of a century. Since 1993, he has been DJing with an open-minded ear: deep house, groovy rhythms, and an underground sound that refuses to choose between disco nostalgia and contemporary club music.

Bubble Records, the backroom that educated a city

Between 1994 and 2005, he ran Bubble Records, an independent shop that served as a meeting point for DJs, collectors, and a scene that was still being invented. That decade of vinyl can still be heard in his sets: cultured selection, long transitions, and a taste that jumps from Jimpster to tech house without losing the thread.

Paradise, De La House and a quarter-century of dancefloors

In 2000, he co-founded Paradise with Pierre-Florent Julio, through Paradise Prod. The series has traveled from the Olympic to Stereolux, the LC Club, and, since 2019, the Warehouse on the Île de Nantes. In March 2025, they celebrated 25 years with Nic Fanciulli, Terrence Parker, and Camille Doe, plus a B2B from Quentin Schneider, Dan Bono, and Philippe B. As artistic director of De La House, en veux-tu, en voilà !, he has shared the booth with Sidney Charles, Stacey Pullen, Purple Disco Machine, Claptone, Nick Warren, Todd Terje, Eats Everything, NTO, or Dimitri from Paris.

Les Valseuses, house against the current of the estuary

In 2015, he launched Les Valseuses, four-hour cruises between the Nantes maritime station and Cordemais: a contemplative trip along the Loire and a DJ set on the way back as the sun sets. With almost no campaign, purely by word of mouth, the format has become a summer ritual for a cross-generational audience that dances on board with local artists.

Cluboïde, stories for the dancefloor

In 2026, he launched Cluboïde Records, a contemporary house label. The first chapter, In Clear Weather EP (March 20, 2026), is a three-act journey—Round Trip To Space, Back To Earth, and Back Home—between cinematic textures, progressive structures, and a hypnotic groove designed for selectors. Today, he remains the common thread of Nantes house: resident, artistic director, and producer of a club that prefers criteria over haste.
