The mask as a stage detonator

A mask, a dark aesthetic, and a dancefloor reading oriented towards tension define the presence of DJ THE MASK in the techno scene of the Costa Brava and Barcelona. His proposal is based on techno and hard techno, with detours into acid techno, hypnotic minimalism, and progressive house passages. The visual identity does not function as a simple accessory: it is part of a futuristic stage performance in which lights, character, and musical selection build a continuous narrative. His sets are approached flexibly, adapting the intensity to the audience and avoiding playing an identical repertoire at every performance.

Two decades before the digital catalog

Born and raised on the Costa Brava, he began moving through rave parties and local clubs in the early 2000s. That prolonged experience in the booth precedes his most visible stage as a producer and explains an approach focused on the progression of the set, rhythmic pressure, and the dancefloor's response. His journey has been linked to Catalan spaces and cycles such as Aura Mataró, Sala Wolf Barcelona, Marius, and Carpas Begur, in addition to the events promoted under World Techno Costa Brava, an initiative aimed at connecting artists and the public within the electronic environment of the area. In 2024, he reached the final of the Tour Music Festival in San Marino and in 2025 he expanded his international activity with Majestiium Experience Dubai.

A repertoire built for the dancefloor

His professionally distributed catalog gained speed between 2025 and 2026. After Ready, start GO and Rexwou, he chained titles such as Hard Family, The Sound Of My Muse, Returns Live @, and Diabolic Hard Techno. The 2026 production expanded that repertoire with Up Down Bass, You Are Your Own, Your Body Is, Number Fourteen (14), Night Party Home, Fast Bomb Wasp, Techno Bela, Losing Control, Take Me Higher, and Rico Mmmm. These releases have appeared on labels such as MODUS TECHNO, Modus Underground Music, Hypnotical Records, RECORDS GROUP, and Modus Vivendi Records, covering everything from high-energy hard techno to rawer, hypnotic, melodic, and peak-time oriented styles.

Costa Brava as a network, not just an origin

The current stage combines club trajectory, original production, and community building. DJ THE MASK maintains a direct booking channel, uses World Techno Costa Brava as a platform for events, and continues to expand a discography conceived for the booth. His position within the scene relies less on a single label than on the continuity between character, live experience, and an increasingly broad catalog on specialized platforms.
