Mixing on the shores of the Mediterranean

At Playa Padre, the Marbella beach club by Grupo Mosh, Drush (FR) hosts Mezcla every Thursday alongside Benchek: a four-handed residency that starts by day and stretches into the night, with the sea as a backdrop. That coastal booth sums up his present: a French DJ and producer settled into the Marbella summer circuit, with one foot in club house and the other in the afro percussion that defines his tracks.

From the first booths in Paris to Scorpios

He grew professionally in the electronic scene of Paris, where he signed his first residency at eighteen, after debuting as a duo as Deep Drush. The hip hop of those beginnings gave way to an increasingly clear bond with dancefloor groove. That trajectory has taken him to beach and club dates in Europe and beyond: Scorpios in Mykonos, sharing the night with MoBlack and Benchek; the Magnifik Open Air 2024, from which a full warm-up filmed in the booth remains; and the ICON circuit, which has placed him alongside Benchek in afro house proposals in Ibiza. In Barcelona, he provided the music for the opening of Leña, by chef Dani García. In 2026, he continues to be a resident at Playa Padre and Momento.

African percussion, Latin and tech house

His sound moves between Afro House, Latin house, deep house and tech house, with elements of traditional African and Latin music. That palette can be heard on the dancefloor and in La Danse, the series of mixes and radio shows he publishes on SoundCloud—with guests like Demayä—and in the Calamar Radio Show, where his own material coexists with a selection designed for the club.

From Girar to Arena

The catalog took shape in 2021 with Girar and African Typic Collection, the latter on Calamar Records, a Hong Kong label. In 2022, Ene Nyame appeared with Moojo and Gabsy, Yolo for Hurry Up Slowly—Malone's label—and Nyakalo with vocalist Oluhle on Abracadabra, a track he produced during a vacation in Spain that Viv, head of the label, signed after including it in a mix. Sonini, with Tabia (2023, Calamar), reached number 22 on the Beatport Afro House chart. In August 2025, he released Arena on WE'RE HERE. Tracks like African Typic Collection and Yolo have appeared in large-format sets by others, from Burning Man to Afrikaburn, proof that the material travels beyond his own schedule.
