Large-format melody

Few recent careers have connected the emotional language of melodic techno with the visual impact of large stages as quickly as Korolova's. Her music moves between progressive house, trance inherited from her background as a listener, and a very cinematic approach to her sets: long arcs, luminous melodies, festival tension, and a visual aesthetic recognizable in her sets recorded on beaches, boats, terraces, and open-air locations.

From Da Queen to a unique identity

Raised in Chernihiv and connected to music and dance since childhood, Olga Korolova came to electronic music after discovering the trance of Gabriel & Dresden and Tiësto in the early 2000s. For much of her early career, she worked in the EDM circuit under the alias DJ Da Queen, with an intense presence in clubs and festivals, before reordering her sound after a performance at Daydream Festival in 2017. That change was not just nominal: Korolova began to focus her language on elevated melodies, more immersive basslines, and a progressive pulse that fit the international melodic house and techno scene.

Captive Soul as a creative axis

Her discography has grown with major labels such as AFTR:HRS, Armada, Get Physical Music, Ultra Records, Tomorrowland Music, Insomniac, and Anjunabeats. Works like Be Strong with Spada, Lost In Space with Franky Wah, Sweet Disposition with Gundamea and Andy Ruddy, Shining with Ekko, or her collaborations and remixes for artists like Jan Blomqvist, Tube & Berger, Meduza, Rivo, and Agents Of Time have reinforced an identity based on expansive melody and dancefloor impact. In 2023, she opened a new chapter with Captive Soul, a label, event series, and radio show that functions as a direct extension of her artistic universe.

An expanding global circuit

Korolova's growth has been supported by both stages and the digital environment. Her full sessions on YouTube have accumulated a massive audience and have turned sets like the one in Farsha, in Sharm el-Sheikh, or her recordings in Odesa, Santorini, Miami, and Turkey into key pieces of her visual narrative. In the booth, she has performed at festivals and clubs such as Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Untold, Parookaville, Só Track Boa, Space Miami, Green Valley, Hï Ibiza, and the RESISTANCE residency at Amnesia Ibiza. Her entry into the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs, with 60th place in 2024 and 50th in 2025, confirmed her leap from a digital phenomenon to a stable name in the global circuit, maintaining a visible Ukrainian identity and an increasingly solid international schedule.
