The RED58 vinyl, Barcelona's pulse

Club groove and dancefloor vinyl define LeMichael's signature in Barcelona: first as a resident and programmer at RED58, then as the founder of Dance, Shake, Swing!. In that Barcelona venue, which became a benchmark for select house and techno, he programmed and shared the booth with Daniel Bell, Arapu, Priku, Dorian Paic, Richy Ahmed, Steve O'Sullivan, or Thomas Melchior. The criteria were clear: timeless, danceable music designed for the floor, both when the lineup announces him as LeMichael and when he performs under the initials LM.

Dance, Shake, Swing!, the house that LM built

DSS! is today his underground platform and community: house and techno that never renounce swing or the body. From Sala Bikini to Studio Stereo, he has hosted nights with Satoshi Tomiie, Youandewan, or Huerta, and maintains the project's residency alongside other resident DJs. On Bandcamp, the label releases the Mamarro e Pack series. Volume 7, from February 2026, opens with Sabrosura, a tech house track with 2000s echoes signed alongside Melgar. In July 2026, DSS! launched Faith, Hope & Charity for Venezuela, a charity compilation with dozens of international producers whose net proceeds were donated to those affected by the earthquake in Venezuela, the artist's home country.

From the first Venezuelan nights to the HÖR studio

A Venezuelan artist based in Barcelona, his public career dates back to 2010, with mixes like Casual Sunday or FIST Rekkords 005 still signed as LeMichael. Before establishing himself in the Catalan capital, he played regularly in Barquisimeto and other Venezuelan cities, and between 2016 and 2018, he brought the same discourse to Panama City, Miami, and New York. In the Barcelona scene, he is a regular presence at Switch Bar —including Bobare Wednesdays—, Círculo, Macarena, Otto Zutz, City Hall, Dr. Dou, and beyond, at Muelle (Alicante). In May 2025, he brought DSS! to the Berlin studio of HÖR, a tech house and minimal house session that summarizes his current sound: elegant, rhythmic, and without unnecessary frills. In parallel, he releases tool edits strictly for DJs and recent mixtapes on Carne Fiesta, Berlin Boombox, HULA-HOP, and Interplanetary Music Service. His network remains that of clubs, vinyl, and a community that has turned his selection into one of the most solid constants of dancefloor house in Barcelona.
