The pulse of Manchester clubs runs through Cam Stockman's musical identity: direct grooves, elastic basslines, and a reading of the dancefloor closely tied to the British rave tradition. Raised around the UK's underground culture, his early references connect with the energy of venues like Sankeys and a way of understanding house as communal, functional, and physical music. He started DJing at 20 and producing at 22, building a language that unites 2000s West Coast tech house, the British drive of the 2010s, and a contemporary sensibility oriented toward large sound systems.

His sound moves between house, minimal house, deep tech, electro, and 90s dance references. He doesn't work from excess, but from efficiency: clean percussion, bouncy basslines, hypnotic vocals, and dancefloor tension. That mix was reflected in tracks like "Won’t Let U Go," released alongside Kristofferson on Whoyostro Black, and in "Brigitte’s Dream EP," before reinforcing his presence with "Wonderful Mr House" within the LCSTRAX005 reference from Locus London. In 2024, he also opened his own series Spare Room Sounds on Bandcamp with "Turn It Up," a direct path to showcase club material without losing control of his aesthetic.

Suburbia and the leap to key labels

In addition to his work as a producer, Stockman is linked to Suburbia Music, a project and party born in his Manchester environment. Suburbia sold out tickets in its early stages and ended up bringing together profiles like Voigtmann, Laidlaw, and Alec Falconer, reinforcing his role within a British generation that crosses minimal, house, and after-hours culture. His discographic progression took a leap with the vinyl All Juiced Out on Sex Tapes From Mars, a 2025 reference with acid textures and an analog focus, and with "Get Close" on Solid Grooves Raw, a release that reached number 3 on the Beatport Minimal/Deep Tech chart and remained in the Top 10 for several weeks.

A moment of international expansion

The takeoff of "Into My Life," built with the voice of Joyce Sims, marked his entry on a larger scale. Before its official release in 2026 by Three Six Zero Recordings/Uprise Music, the track received support from Chris Stussy, Michael Bibi, Prospa, Interplanetary Criminal, Max Dean, ALISHA, Saoirse, Enzo Siragusa, and L.P. Rhythm. Later came "Fascination EP" on neXup recz and "Mesmerize" on Three Six Zero Recordings, consolidating a stage of greater exposure. In the booth, his schedule places him between Manchester, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Newcastle, and Dublin, with appearances at 528 Ibiza, Cova Santa, 93 Feet East, PIV Ibiza, KALUKI Ibiza, and Paradise, maintaining an upward position within the new British house scene.
