The Queen opens the booth

On June 14, 2025, from 20:00 to 06:00, Barraca premiered Begïn. It wasn't a lineup of imported headliners, but the first public outing of the Barraca Music Academy: the club flyer, bearing the BMA seal, placed Cerque among ADIC-T, AYMX, Kaders, Falger, Fenss, Llenes and the rest of the batch, with Domen, Sou Allen and Ruy López (Javier Galiano) as the house anchors. That same night, the project signed as MarcoZerque left a set of about 34 minutes and published it on August 1 as a debut at the Reina Barraca. The venue—Les Palmeres, in the municipality of Sueca, province of Valencia—has been open since 1965: it was a driving force of the Ruta Destroy and remains one of the temples of techno in Spain.

Dirty psytrance on a hard base

On SoundCloud, he presents himself as a DJ and producer associated with PSYTETE. The genre he declares is techno; the tags refine the style: psytrance, hard techno and, in the second set, psytrance bounce. Psy or Die, uploaded on December 18, 2025, stretches that proposal for over an hour. There are, for now, no singles on Beatport, a profile on Discogs, or an artist page on Spotify: the public archive consists of those two sessions, with a handful of listens and comments from the Begïn circle itself.

Valencian seedbed, still raw

The KultKlubb academy opened in March 2025 in the rooms of Barraca itself: 12-week courses, fifteen spots, and the promise that the best would play in the Queen's programming. Begïn was that door. Xceed labeled the night as underground techno. The official profile writes the name Marc Cerqueira; on X there is @MarcoZerque, still inactive. There is no booking agency, personal website, or long set on YouTube. What is signed, however, is the place: an emerging artist from the Valencian seedbed, with nervous psytrance and hard techno as his language, and the Barraca booth as his first endorsement.
