A psychedelic ritual with a Tel Aviv pulse

The tension between club psychedelia, organic groove, and the energy of Tel Aviv defines the universe of Mita Gami. His music functions less as a succession of tracks and more as a physical narrative: long builds, percussion with human breath, warm basslines, guitars, vocals, and unexpected details that shift the set into emotional territory. Although born in Boston, he grew up in a small town in northern Israel and established himself in Tel Aviv, a city that permeates his way of understanding the dancefloor as a community, ceremony, and sound laboratory.

Piano, guitar, and a non-linear dancefloor

His relationship with music began before the DJ booth. Since he was a child, he studied piano and guitar, then drums, played in a rock band, and began producing on the computer before pouring that instrumental foundation into electronic music. In 2016, he shaped the Mita Gami project, conceived as a space to cross programming, instruments, and a flexible live sensibility. That perspective explains why his performances are often presented as hybrid experiences, with a ritualistic energy and special attention to composition, developments, and points of tension. He has also been linked to the local scene through People Are Strange, a line of techno-house parties in Tel Aviv.

Maccabi House and the leap to the global circuit

The trajectory of Mita Gami has expanded through his own labels and projects. Together with Adam Ten, he leads Maccabi House, a Tel Aviv-based label and platform that releases contemporary dance music and organizes showcases in places like New York, Los Angeles, Ibiza, and Tulum. He is also associated with Blue Shadow Records and the Sunrise Kingdom camp within Midburn, reinforcing his role as an artist, curator, and community agitator. In the studio, he has signed music and remixes on labels such as Diynamic, Crosstown Rebels, Rebellion, REALM, Anjunadeep, Nervous Records, and Maccabi House, with tracks and collaborations such as Sun, High On, All By Myself, Where’s My Voice?, Million Pieces, and Untouchable.

Electronics, orchestra, and large-format stages

His creative alliance with Adam Ten has taken the project to b2b formats and large stages, including appearances linked to Coachella, Burning Man, and the Mayan Warrior brand. Another distinctive axis is his work with director Meir Briskman, which translates his electronic imagery into a format with a live orchestra and underscores his interest in expanding club music beyond the conventional DJ set. Currently, Mita Gami occupies a recognizable position within psychedelic house and new-generation melodic electronica: a producer and selector who combines dancefloor instinct, instrumental roots, and an increasingly international visual and sonic identity.
