Full Thursdays in the upstairs room

When Slow Club lights up the main room in the Eixample, Navider takes over the booth until closing. Every Thursday he holds his Deep, Tech, House residency: a long journey through deep house, Chicago, funky and disco, with a techno edge and an underground selection that goes from the roots to the current dancefloor. This slot has made him a permanent resident of the Barcelona club and a regular name for Glamour Freaks nights, sharing the bill with Frankie G, Hermes Disco Eterno or guests like Quivver at the venue's fifteenth anniversary.

The same pulse, another alias

The project also circulates as D.T.H. and Dusty Tech. With the latter, he has released more than eight techno EPs on Finder Records, The Acid Mind Recordings, Future Techno Records and DSR Digital. The Graphity EP, his first work on Future Techno, entered the Beatport hard techno top 100; the Chaze EP reached number 6. On the dancefloor, he has played at John Doe (Amsterdam), Club Spock (Breda), PKHS (Tilburg), The Garage of The Bass Valley, Florida 135 and Macarena Club. The house side emerged in 2016 with a guest podcast on Toronto's ALTOSPIN Records, Synchronicity, and a session for Radio Javan, in Arlington.

From the santoor to the Metro anniversary

Born in Tehran, he started with the santoor and jumped into electronic music in 2013. In Barcelona, he trained at Microfusa, with the encouragement of Adriana López (PoleGroup) and work in sound design and mastering. In 2019, he made his festival debut at the 28th anniversary of Metro Dance Club, on the bill with Shlømo, Indira Paganotto, Lady Starlight, Adriatique and De La Swing. La Vanguardia pointed him out then as an emerging hard techno talent. Gary Beck played his track Zarb at Verknipt during ADE 2019. Coyu, Bas Mooy, Marco Bailey, Flug and Shlomi Aber have supported his productions, which sometimes incorporate santoor, ney, tombak and daf.

080 catwalk and the groove of now

In May 2023, he signed three exclusive tracks for Nathalie Chandler's runway show at 080 Barcelona Fashion Week. He is the founder of the Stonechrom event and maintains collaborations with Parsa Jafari at The Acid Mind Recordings. Today, as Navider, he focuses on long house nights at Slow Club; as Dusty Tech, he focuses on dusty hard techno, with dry drops and hard grooves over the snare.
