Biography of Strong R.

Minimal with a Budapest accent

In the Hungarian electronic scene, Strong R. carved out a niche with a minimal, house, and electro club sound designed for the Budapest nightlife. The YouTube channel he has maintained since February 12, 2011—now with around 158,000 subscribers and over 67 million views—preserves that trajectory: club sets, bootlegs, and later, the shift towards rave techno. On SoundCloud, he continues to define his core with three words: minimal, house, and electro.

From bootleg to his own label

The first singles arrived in 2011 with Piano, on the LAD label, followed by Sundown (FLD Records, 2013), I Got Love (Minichip and later G-Music), and a series on Hungry Koala and DC10: Divine, Dreaming, Always, Tchaikovsky, and Techno Magic (2017). In parallel, bootlegs and remixes circulated—of Ed Sheeran, Burak Yeter, Meduza, or Alok—which racked up millions of views on YouTube. The Minimal Beat (2020), released on his own Strong Music Records, became a benchmark piece, along with Lei Lei, Balkan Trumpet, Addicted (with Droplex), and Érezd a ritmust (with Szecsei). The songwriting credits for the latter feature Roland Erős.

DJ booths, Berlin, and the alias Strongi

His DJ booth route includes Hungarian clubs like Liget, Club Play, Mundo in Győr, Café del Rio, or Plázs in Siófok, and extends beyond the country with a minimal techno set recorded in Bremen in 2016, the LoveBase Festival in Berlin in October 2018, and a tour vlog in Korea. Under the alias Strongi, he pushed a more popular line in Hungarian: Az orosz vakcina, Lada, Ruszki mulató, or Katyusa coexist with collaborations alongside Pixa, Orsi, Naksi, Adorján Anna, Amanna, and Roland Fuerte. Booking is managed directly through the channel, at the email djstrongr@gmail.com.

Lakótelepi rave

In recent years, his live act has become harder. The Lakótelepi Mix and LKTP Rave series—hypertechno, mainstage techno, and hard techno—and tracks like Lose Control, Dance On Cocaine, Club Bizarre, Techno Is the Future (with Jauri), or Hava Nagila mark this phase. In February 2026, he uploaded a set of nearly four hours, STRONG R. LIVE @ LKTP RAVE, recorded in Székesfehérvár, and continues to announce dates in cities like Győr and Debrecen. The project remains anchored in Hungary: rave techno as his current calling card and club minimal as a background memory.
