Biography of Terry Francis
The Beginnings and the Creation of Tech House
Terry Francis was born on July 28, 1966, in England, United Kingdom. His career in the electronic music scene began in the late 1980s, at a time when underground sounds were starting to take shape in British clubs. His first official performance as a deejay took place at the well-known venue The Arches, located in Vauxhall, London. Little by little, his skill behind the decks began to attract attention in various places in the southeast of England, standing out at events at Bognor Pier that opened the doors to his first major residency at In-Ter-Dance, the legendary all-night parties held at the Sterns Nightclub in Worthing, Sussex.
Consolidation: Dynamix, Wiggle and Recognition
During these influential residencies, Terry Francis met key figures in the industry, including Eddie Richards, who quickly recognized his talent and signed him to the Dynamix DJ Agency, considered the first agency of its kind in the United Kingdom. This milestone marked the beginning of his international performances. In the 1990s, while working at the Swag Records shop in Croydon and performing at the legendary Heart and Soul party, he formed a deep friendship and professional alliance with Nathan Coles. Together, they founded the famous monthly Wiggle parties in 1994, which would become the cradle of a new subgenre: Tech House. Terry Francis's influence grew exponentially, and in 1997, the prestigious Muzik Magazine awarded him the Best New DJ award, succeeding Derrick Carter, which catapulted his fame and respect within the global electronic circuit.
The Fabric London Legend

For more than two decades, his name has been synonymous with Saturday nights at this global temple of electronic music, maintaining his position as a resident with unparalleled consistency and quality. His impeccable mixing style, which fuses deep House with punchy Techno rhythms and acid nuances, has defined the sonic identity of the venue and an entire generation of clubbers.
