The Purge

Dirty funk for high-impact stages

Dry kicks, metallic screeches, and an aesthetic of controlled chaos have made The Purge a recognizable figure in European rawstyle. His sound combines raw hardstyle, industrial tension, vocal hooks, and a very physical booth energy, always oriented towards direct impact. Born in Monza and based in the Netherlands, the project grew within the Dutch hardstyle circuit, evolving from an underground name to a regular presence on major international stages.

From Spoontech to the Savage laboratory

The first recording stage of The Purge was closely linked to Spoontech Records, the label from which he released material such as Quarantine Planet, Evolution, Switch, Cybertron, or Annihilation, in addition to collaborations with Mind Dimension, DJ Thera, Chris One, and Genox. That phase established an identity based on heavy kicks, dark atmospheres, and direct songwriting, designed for both clubs and festivals. Starting in 2020, his role expanded with Savage Squad Recordings, a platform founded together with Jordy after the lockdown, which became a key space for his music and for like-minded artists such as Adjuzt, Omnya, Griever, or PL4Y. The label shaped a rawstyle community with a strong visual personality and an editorial line freer than that of the conventional circuit.

TRIPPIN' as a language of its own

The album TRIPPIN' marked a turning point by taking his universe beyond the dancefloor single: music, aesthetics, merchandising, and audiovisual concept began to function as a single narrative. That idea expanded with BEYOND TRIPPIN', released in 2024, a second album with collaborations from Ava Silver, Devin Wild, TOZA, Omnya, Deluzion, Kenai, Regain, Coldax, Element, EZG, and LunaKorpz. The project reinforced his more colorful and melodic side without abandoning the sonic pressure that defines him, incorporating eurodance influences, euphoric hardstyle moments, and stretches of contemporary raw. He has also explored hard techno territory under the alias Møscardø, although The Purge remains the main axis of his career.

Mainstages, conceptual live shows, and the present

His live career includes performances and concepts at events such as Defqon.1, Decibel Outdoor, Intents Festival, Qlimax, and Supremacy, where he presented BEYOND TRIPPIN' as a live experience. The collaboration with Adjuzt on Dreamscape expanded his presence in special formats within major hard dance festivals. In recent years, he has maintained a high pace of releases and collaborations, with tracks such as Hear the Noise, Fantasyland, Summer Secrets, NEXT TO U, Og Raver, YOUR TOUCH, Wild Ones, or Chemical Night. In the current scene, The Purge combines rawstyle credibility, mainstage reach, and a versatility rarely seen within hard electronic music.
