A Beuk Mix that escaped the couch

Meet Her At The Love Parade was not born as a career strategy. Vieze Asbak uploaded it to Spotify to listen to it with friends, without a campaign or artist identity, and that Beuk Mix of a nineties classic became his calling card. The name, which in Dutch means "disgusting ashtray," was a living room joke; today it is chanted—"ASBAAAK"—on dance floors all over Europe.

Memetechno with a hardcore kick

The Dutch producer, anonymous on purpose, has been at the center of memetechno (also called troll 'n bass) since 2020: short cuts, designed for scrolling and for pandemic parties, with a hard techno and hardcore kick, absurd samples, and choruses that hook you from the first listen. Before that, he had made hip hop and chillhop; techno came to him through his father's house. His first "dirty" experiment was a remix of Smoorverliefd by Snelle. With Natte Visstick he signed Lekkere boterham; with Gladde Paling, Ratata, a track that even played in Noisia sets. Polska Jumpstyle, together with Mr. Polska and Natte Visstick, exploded years after its release and ended up fitting into techno booths. With Joost Klein he worked on Wachtmuziek (sped up) and the sped-up version of Friesenjung, a gold record in Germany.

Pestcore, Pestival and Timmerclub

In 2022, after an email from the publisher Cloud 9 Music was leaked encouraging the cloning of the genre with office pseudonyms, he co-founded the Pestcore Collectief with Natte Visstick, Offensief, Krabi, Gladde Paling, Opgekonkerd, and Dikke Baap, to defend the raw and humorous nature of the scene. The collective set up Pestival: in March 2023 it filled the Paradiso in Amsterdam, with a live set of his lasting more than half an hour. He also presents Timmerclub, nights of hard styles in venues like Now & Wow in Rotterdam.

From the red balaclava to Tomorrowland

For a long time, he remained behind the machines; when he jumped onto the stage, he did so with a red balaclava and moshpit energy. He played at Tomorrowland (2023 and 2026) and at Sziget (2023). His Paradiso dossier also places him at Lowlands, Mattermind, and Lost Lands. Between 2024 and 2026, he has toured hard dance clubs and festivals—Egg London, Gotec Karlsruhe, Hive, Verknipt, Defqon.1, Nacht Wacht—and has collaborated with Fantasm, Hades, Kruelty, Lil Texas, Oguz, DJ Mad Dog, or DYEN. Tracks like Asbak Anthem, Hardcore Power, or Kiss Me Again support a catalog that exceeds three million monthly listeners on Spotify.
