Yanamaste (Irakli Danelia) is one of the brightest gems to emerge from the fertile techno scene in Georgia (Tbilisi). As a resident of the iconic club KHIDI, Yanamaste has built a reputation based on intensity and futuristic sound design. His music sounds like science fiction: rusted metal, oppressive atmospheres, and broken rhythms that seem to come from an alien civilization.

Synthesizer Sorcery

Yanamaste is a hardware devotee. His productions (on labels like Lyree or INNSIGNN) and his performances are based on the intensive use of modular synthesizers. This gives his sound an organic and living quality; his sequences are never static, they are always mutating and evolving. Tracks like "Bipolar Mood" show his ability to blend nostalgic melodies with the hardness of industrial techno.

Hypnotic Journey

In the booth, Yanamaste avoids easy tricks. His sets are exercises in hypnosis, building tunnels of sound that trap the dancer. He is part of the new wave of artists who are redefining European techno from the East, bringing a seriousness and aesthetic depth that recalls the pioneers of Detroit and Berlin, but with a totally unique and contemporary sonic signature.
