The organization of AVA London has revealed the first details of its 2026 conference, confirming a strategic change in its operational calendar. Traditionally held during the spring, the event will move to the beginning of autumn, scheduled from September 24 to 26, 2026. The main venue for daytime activities will once again be the Knowledge Centre at The British Library in London. According to official data, the 2026 edition projects to host more than 8,000 attendees over its three days, structuring a program with more than 70 speakers and 30 debate sessions that fuse electronic music, digital art, and technological development.
Moby and Sustainability through EarthPercent
One of the main pillars of the program is the participation of Moby. The American producer will offer a virtual keynote speech focused on environmental impact and climate action within the music industry. This session is developed in direct collaboration with EarthPercent, the charitable foundation co-founded by musician Brian Eno, which seeks to channel funds from the music sector toward environmental organizations. As part of the agreement, the AVA London organization has confirmed that a donation of one British pound per ticket sold will be allocated to this entity, with the goal of funding conservation, research, and climate justice projects globally.
Richie Hawtin and teamLab at the Intersection of Art and Technology
The lineup of speakers includes producer and DJ Richie Hawtin, who will lead an interactive talk focused on the intersection between club music, visual art, and contemporary culture. In the purely visual realm, the participation of the Japanese interdisciplinary collective teamLab is confirmed. Known worldwide for their large-scale immersive installations, the group formed by engineers, programmers, computer graphics animators, and mathematicians will present a workshop focused on audience movement and the dissolution of boundaries between the viewer, the artwork, and the digital environment.
The Avalanches, Oklou and Creator Development
The 2026 program will also host the Australian group The Avalanches, who will participate in an in-person forum to discuss the production process and the imminent release of their fourth studio album. For her part, French producer and singer Oklou will be part of a live interview for the Resident Advisor Exchange format. In parallel, the festival has announced the continuation of the Creators Forum program, a ten-day development initiative aimed at emerging artists between 18 and 30 years old. This forum, developed in collaboration with Roundhouse Creative Studios and supported by Arts Council England, will provide ten selected participants with access to recording studios, personalized mentoring, and professional tools.
Technical Training and Rights Management Spaces
The technical and administrative training area is reinforced by the presence of industry brands and institutions. Ableton will host an immersive workshop on field recording and sound file manipulation in collaboration with The British Library Sound Archive. Attendees will be able to manipulate historical sounds using Ableton Push hardware. Additionally, the rights management entity PRS for Music will offer a session dedicated exclusively to copyright management, royalty administration, and creative collaboration, providing producers with legal tools to protect their works. The event will also feature the live recording of the influential No Tags Podcast, hosted by Chal Ravens and Tom Lea.
Consolidation of the Hybrid Format in the European Industry
The AVA London 2026 programming underscores the establishment of hybrid events that combine the nighttime clubbing circuit with daytime academic and technical debate. By expanding its offering with professional passes (Pro Pass) that grant full access to panels, masterclasses, industry forums, and audiovisual performances, the festival consolidates itself as a meeting point for industry professionals in Europe. The initial pricing structure, set at 126 pounds for Super Early Bird passes and 199 pounds for the professional pass, establishes a business model oriented toward maintaining accessibility to highly specialized content in the British capital.
