The immersive experience says goodbye to the island with Dance With The Serpent 2.0, the new production created together with the Austrian artist NYCHOS.
elrow closed its second season at [UNVRS] last night after a four-month residency at the world's first hyperclub and current World's No. 1 Club according to DJ Mag 2026. From the Opening on June 6th to the Closing on October 3rd, the programming has linked 18 consecutive Saturdays and six different creative worlds, consolidating a residency that has combined electronic music, stage production, performance, and artistic collaborations throughout the entire summer.
The final night served to bid farewell to that journey with the world premiere of Dance With The Serpent 2.0, developed together with the Austrian artist NYCHOS, and a lineup consisting of AAT, Chelina Manuhutu B2B Tini Gessler, Ilario Alicante, and Paco Osuna. But the Closing was also the final point of a season whose scale is especially reflected in the figures accumulated during these four months.
Four months of residency: The balance of Ibiza 2026
Of the 18 Saturdays held consecutively at [UNVRS], 14 ended in a sell-out. Throughout the residency, 206 international DJs have passed through its booths and 2,034 performers have been part of the different productions deployed each week, accompanying the six themes that have structured the programming from June to October.
In total, the season has added up to 126 hours of music and dancing, in addition to more than 5,400 kilos of confetti and 90 confetti launches or explosions. A volume that also reflects the production work necessary to maintain a residency of these characteristics for four months: each week, the space had to be transformed again to receive a new universe, adapting scenography, costumes, characters, performance, and audiovisual content.
[UNVRS] has been a fundamental piece in that process. The scale of the space and its technological infrastructure have allowed for the adaptation of the different productions and the expansion of their visual and scenic possibilities, making each theme find a different way to occupy the club throughout the season.
Ibiza forces you to stay awake, not to take anything for granted. It's many months and many nights, and the hard part isn't generating anticipation at the beginning, but keeping that energy until the end. This summer we have felt a very special continuity between the audience, the artists, our teams, and [UNVRS]. I'm left with that feeling of having built something over four months and reaching October still wanting more. Ending like this doesn't just feel like closing a season; it also leaves us with a very solid foundation from which to imagine what's next.
The Enter the WORTEX portal closes
The six worlds presented during these months have been connected by Enter the WORTEX, the creative thread of the 2026 residency. Conceived as a portal to different realities, the concept has allowed each Saturday to present its own identity and for [UNVRS] to change its appearance as the summer progressed.
The journey began with Bhūtarāh, created together with the South African artist Dan Popper, and continued through Hallucinarium, Neo Kaos Garden, Delusionville 2.0, and Nowmads: New World, before reaching its final stop with Dance With The Serpent 2.0. In this way, the residency has connected very different proposals and languages within the same narrative, from collaborations with contemporary artists to some of elrow's most recognizable universes.
Four months after opening during the Opening, Enter the WORTEX closed its portal last night. The end of the concept also put the finishing touch on a season in which elrow has explored different ways to transform and inhabit [UNVRS] through music, scenography, art, and performance.
The most interesting thing about these months has been being able to use [UNVRS] as a creative space in constant motion. We didn't want the Saturdays to simply be a succession of parties, but for each theme to find a different way to inhabit the club and take advantage of its possibilities. Reaching the end and looking at everything we have built, from Bhūtarāh to Dance With The Serpent 2.0, shows us that there is still a lot of territory to explore. This season leaves us with many ideas and, above all, the feeling that the relationship between elrow and [UNVRS] can continue to grow creatively.
Dance With The Serpent 2.0, the last transformation of the summer
For the Closing, [UNVRS] delved into the particular imaginary of the Austrian artist. Snakes, deconstructed bodies, and creatures emerging from his universe coexisted with scenography, visuals, and performers, while the large screens of the Main Room extended the graphic language of Dance With The Serpent throughout the space.
The combination of the physical production work and the venue's audiovisual display left some of the most recognizable images of the final night, with the fragmented anatomies and organic shapes characteristic of the creator coming to life and enveloping the dance floor in the theme's visual universe.
Three years after the first version of Dance With The Serpent, elrow returned to collaborate with NYCHOS to develop an evolution adapted to the characteristics of [UNVRS]. The 2.0 version took up the concept originally presented in 2023 and expanded its physical and digital dimension with new resources and content created for this staging.
From groove to techno for the last trip of the season
The musical journey of the night gained intensity from the early hours. AAT opened the programming with his combination of groove and house, shaping a dynamic first stretch that got the dance floor moving. Later, Chelina Manuhutu and Tini Gessler shared the booth in one of the night's encounters, a B2B in which tech-house, marked basslines, and an increasingly energetic selection led the Closing towards its next phase.
With the early morning already advanced, Paco Osuna changed the pulse of the Main Room with a set with a greater techno load and a more forceful sound. The last shift was left in the hands of Ilario Alicante, one of the names most closely linked to the recent history of elrow, who took the night to the end with a direct, high-intensity set, providing the soundtrack to the final bars of four months of residency at [UNVRS].
With the closing of this second season at [UNVRS], elrow says goodbye to four months of residency in Ibiza and puts an end to one of its most ambitious projects of the year. A journey that leaves new possibilities open to continue exploring the relationship between music, art, and immersive production on the island.
