We travel to the cradle of techno, to the city of Detroit during the 80s and 90s, to discover how industrial noise and urban decay transformed into a revolutionary sound that conquered the planet. We immerse ourselves in the underground parties and garages filled with analog machines where, far from the posturing, a musical culture was forged based on vinyl, sweat and the love for pure rhythm.

We review the immense legacy of the undisputed pioneers known as The Belleville Three: Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson. In addition, we explore the indelible mark of electronic giants like Jeff Mills, Kenny Larkin and the militant rawness of Underground Resistance led by Mad Mike Banks and Robert Hood, true architects of the roots of today's techno.
