An emotional arc between afro house and techno

The arrival of Ajna to the circuit was not gradual: he burst onto the Belgian house and techno scene with sessions designed as an emotional arc, where afro house and melodic techno are sustained by a warm pulse and a selection that mixes his own productions with tracks by others. Based in Antwerp, his sets seek dancefloor connection rather than posturing: a hypnotic, physical, and highly recognizable journey.

Magnifik, label and community

Together with Samm, he founded Magnifik Music, first as a response to the difficulty of placing records on other labels and, very soon, as a catalog, party, and community platform. The friendship was born during the pandemic, from B2B sessions played for the pleasure of sharing the booth; in 2022 the project went public and in 2023 the first release arrived. The remix of Does It Matter changed the scale: support from Keinemusik put the label on the international map. Ajna, entrepreneur and organizational mastermind of Magnifik, maintains that structure with the same determination with which he cares for the sound.

Tomorrowland, Extrema and the stage leap

The live leap was parallel to the record one. Magnifik went from local parties to festival hostings, to a first date at the Amsterdam Dance Event and open-air productions at home. Ajna and Samm have taken the project to Tomorrowland —including the Atmosphere stage alongside Black Coffee, Dixon, Carlita, GHEIST and Sona—, have presented a Magnifik stage at Extrema Outdoor and have played at WECANDANCE. In Antwerp, they have turned dates like the Open Air at Openluchttheater Rivierenhof into a house ritual; in 2025 the label hosted its own stage at Tomorrowland. The circuit has also taken them to Scorpios in Mykonos and international showcases, with a frequent B2B that functions as the pair's signature.

A catalog between the club and the sunset

On record, he has signed pieces and collaborations that are already circulating in top-tier booths: Rinketin, Move, Yours to Take, the edit of Ah Ya Albi, Anahata, Forest, Bringing The Noise with Sentin or Electrify with Sebjak. The remix of Home for CamelPhat and the one for Save Me for CamelPhat and Marten Lou open the dialogue with the global-scale club. Timeless, with Chelsea Como and Samm on Scorpios Music, points to the duo's most cinematic sunset. Support from Adriatique, Black Coffee, CamelPhat, Solomun and WhoMadeWho has turned those productions into a repertoire for major sets. With over a million monthly listeners on Spotify and an agenda that crosses Belgium, Europe, and major festivals, Ajna today occupies a clear place in the new wave of afro house and melodic techno, always anchored to Magnifik and a very concrete idea of community.
