Rollers designed to keep you on the dancefloor

Bella Claxton's sets are measured in stamina, not shock value. Between the Australian outdoor summer and European winter basements, she has refined a sound of hard house and progressive house that advances through pressure, long basslines, and a constant cadence. She emerged from the Melbourne club scene and is now based in Amsterdam, where she builds long-arc sessions, with few cuts and plenty of groove, designed so the body never stops.

The reset between hemispheres

In Melbourne, she established herself with high-energy sets that crossed hard house classics, peak-time techno, trance, and psychedelic flashes, becoming a staple of the Australian night, with a track record in the local circuit since at least 2019. That era was heard at HÖR in Berlin in September 2023, and later on Rinse FM within the X CLUB space. The move to Europe allowed her to return to the house and hard house of her early years: fewer flashy drops and more nineties-flavored rollers, designed to mix for hours and sustain the dancefloor from start to finish.

My Joy and the stamp of beats per minute

In January 2024, she released the EP My Joy on the Australian label Made Of Momentum, with tracks like Can't Stop Me and You And I that were already sneaking into European clubs. Later came Crush On You and the tool RSO Step Tool on Maison Close. The shift is solidified in Cadence, the label she launched on December 17, 2025: the name alludes to steps per minute, an idea born after a night in Berlin where she and a friend clocked 100,000 steps dancing. The double A-side The Power / Lose Ya Mind inaugurated the catalog; the title track starts from a field recording captured at the Beach Bar at Dekmantel Selectors. Cadence functions both as her own outlet and as a platform for producers in her orbit, with club tracks built to last. In 2026, she also signed the remix of Keep Up by DJ BORING and ATRIP.

Midnight at the Dance Dome

The 2025-2026 calendar has taken her from Strawberry Fields, Lost Sundays, and Lost Paradise to the New Year's Eve countdown at the Dance Dome at Beyond The Valley. Following that, she immediately sold out two headline nights at the Northcote Theatre in Melbourne and the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney with the Strictly Pumpers tour. In Europe, she has added Soenda, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Intercell, Modulair, Glitch, Terminal V, and Rotterdam Rave, as well as dates at the Amsterdam Dance Event. She also appears on the schedule at Amnesia in Ibiza and signed a Peak Time Mix on BBC Radio 1 Future Dance. With Meanwhile for Europe and the UK, and Proxy Agency for Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, her place is in that contemporary hard house of pushed basslines and sets that last as long as the night.
