Strange groove, immediate impact

An elastic bassline, dry drums, and chopped vocals have turned Beltran's repertoire into one of the most recognizable signatures of recent Brazilian tech house. Hailing from Bento Gonçalves, in southern Brazil, he grew up discovering electronic music through his brother and cousins. Before making a living from music, he worked in IT; the pandemic hiatus allowed him to focus time and method in the studio, polish an identity less dependent on formulas, and strengthen his connection with his country's underground community.

The idea that appeared on the way to work

The breaking point came with Smack Yo’. The foundation occurred to him while waiting for the bus to go to work, and he recorded it by singing it into a voice note before transferring it to Ableton Live. After years of sending music to Michael Bibi, the track ended up on Solid Grooves Raw and, released in September 2022, reached the overall number one on Beatport. The success amplified a trajectory that had already left marks on CUFF with Basement and MFK, the latter alongside Cla$$ and JCult. Next came Warning on Revival New York, Unfair on Solid Grooves Raw, Moonlight with Mandragora, and his remix of KILO for The Martinez Brothers and Tokischa.

In 2024, he expanded his catalog with Origins, a shared EP with Harvy Valencia on Hot Creations. The release included Tira A Roupa, featuring the vocals of MC Jajau, and confirmed a production style that combines tech house and minimal/deep tech with references to hip hop, Brazilian funk, unpredictable vocal snippets, and a sonic sense of humor that he himself claims as strange.

Beltools, global booths, and a new scale

His residency linked to Basement in Porto Alegre was the laboratory for a way of DJing focused on groove, tension, and dancefloor reading. From there, he jumped to stages such as Coachella, where he performed at the Do Lab in 2024 and the Yuma tent in 2025, as well as Club Space Miami, DC-10, Kappa FuturFestival, and other spots on the international circuit.

In parallel, he developed Beltools Records and the TOOLS 4 HARDWORKERS series, a channel for club material, collaborations, and edits that has included works with Khia, Guii Balas, and MC Rogê, as well as cuts like Saturn, Jupiter, The Other Side of Matrix, and Saquarema. In 2026, he released Passion (R U Satisfied) with The Flirts, a long-awaited track in his sets. His current position is supported by that combination of physical efficacy, irreverent personality, and recognizable production: music designed for large venues without losing the strange and underground bias that fueled his rise.
