A psytrance pulse connected to the Hungarian night

Beyond occupies a recognizable place within European psytrance due to a trajectory built from the DJ booth, community culture, and a sustained presence in the Hungarian circuit. Their name is consistently linked to the Goa.hu environment, a portal and promoter team that has functioned as one of the reference points for the psychedelic scene in Hungary, and to an activity that moves between clubs, specialized parties, and outdoor festivals. More than a project of instant impact, Beyond represents a long-distance career, based on high-energy sessions, functional track selection, and a very direct reading of the psytrance tradition.

From Boohna to a unique dancefloor identity

Before consolidating as Beyond, their public activity was associated with the alias Boohna. Their relationship with music began far from a single label: rock, brit pop, goa trance, hardcore techno, and industrial were part of their learning process during the years prior to focusing on psychedelia. Starting in 2003, their bond with psychedelic trance became central and they began to develop as a DJ. During that stage, they shared a context with names like Star-X, Silicon Sound, Paul Taylor, Hujaboy, and X-NoiZe, and in 2005 they joined the Procyon Records environment. The collaboration with Danger helped shape the Beyond project in its early years, within a local network that combined production, promotion, and club culture.

Labels, festivals, and international continuity

Beyond's projection was reinforced with their incorporation into Stereo Society in 2019 and their subsequent presence in the Sacred Technology ecosystem. Their catalog and activity are linked to labels such as Future Music Records, Digital Om Records, Nutek Records, Phantasm Records, and Dacru Records. The track X-Perience reached number 6 on the Beatport psytrance Top 100, a fact that summarizes their profile well: music of direct construction, designed for the physical push of the dancefloor and for long-development sets.

The booth as a natural territory

In recent years, Beyond has maintained a visible presence in spaces such as Ozora Festival, radiOzora, Manas Festival, and Goa.hu events, with sets published by specialized platforms and recordings in full session format. Their sound relies on firm basslines, progressive tension, acid textures, and a psychedelic aesthetic oriented toward collective dancing. Within the scene, they function as a professional profile: less dependent on media narrative than on continuity, contact with the dancefloor, and an identity deeply linked to Hungarian and European psytrance.
