The pulse of Havana runs through Claudia León's work with an energy designed for the contemporary club. Based in Madrid, she has built a recognizable identity within Afro House and Latin House, combining tribal percussion, Afro-Cuban memory, roots vocals, oriental textures, and a very physical reading of the dancefloor. Her previous background as a dancer and model is evident in the way she occupies the booth: her sets rely not only on musical selection but also on a stage presence marked by movement, connection with the audience, and an almost ritualistic idea of electronic music.

From Madrid to Ibiza, with MOOTS as her own territory

Her growth in the Spanish scene has accelerated through performances at high-profile venues and brands such as Mad Cool, Brunch In The Park, Pacha Ibiza, Space Of Sound, Opium, Supermartxé, Cova Santa, Lula Club, and LAB theCLUB. In that circuit, she has established a warm, percussive, and expansive sound, close to African and Latin-rooted house, but with a stage performance designed for festival, club, and ceremonial session formats. One of the central pieces of her universe is MOOTS, a concept created by the artist herself and associated with the idea of roots. The project functions as a sensory experience centered on Afro House, tradition, community, and collective energy, with a presence in Madrid and Ibiza and a direct connection to the evolution of her artistic language.

Production, labels, and expanding international projection

Since 2022, she has reinforced her profile as a producer, releasing music on labels linked to the Afro and melodic scene such as Switch Lab, Deep Root Tribe, Redolent Music, Union Records, Go Deeva, and other related catalogs. Her productions and collaborations, including works such as Isizwe, Pesa Esengo, Amazwe, Atençao, Loco Morocco, Quimbara, La Rumba, and Mi Cuba, show a search focused on percussion, vocal groove, and the emotional tension of the dancefloor. She has collaborated with artists and voices from the international circuit such as Aaron Sevilla, Nitefreak, Lizwi, and Idd Aziz, and several of her releases have reached prominent positions on Beatport charts.

A Hispanic-Cuban artist on the current electronic map

Claudia León's international leap was consolidated with her performance at Tomorrowland 2025, where she brought her Afro-Cuban sound to the Melodia by Corona stage. That milestone, together with her residency linked to MOOTS in Ibiza and her growing presence in clubs and festivals, positions her as one of the Hispanic-Cuban figures with the greatest projection within current Afro House. Her proposal is supported by an unusual combination of dancefloor instinct, Caribbean heritage, stage theatricality, and electronic production oriented toward the collective experience.
