Frenchcore Worldwide as a manifesto

The Frenchcore Worldwide slogan does not function as a simple catchphrase in Dr. Peacock's career: it summarizes an artistic mission that has taken a niche, fast, and extreme sound to top-tier stages within hard dance. Raised in Limmen, in North Holland, Stefan Petrus Dekker entered the hardcore universe at a very young age through Thunderdome compilations and, later, found a path to frenchcore in records by The Speed Freak, The Sickest Squad, Psiko, and DJ Radium. At the beginning of the 2010s, he began releasing his own music and building a recognizable identity: fast kicks, epic melodies, cinematic atmospheres, and an almost nomadic drive.

The journey as a dancefloor language

His Trip to series became one of the most identifiable signatures of the genre. Tracks like Trip to Ireland, Trip to Valhalla, Trip to Turkey, Trip to India, Trip to Middle Earth, or Trip to Dreamland blend frenchcore patterns with cultural references, folk melodies, choirs, orchestral elements, and an energy that frequently exceeds 190 BPM. This approach allowed him to differentiate himself from the drier hardness of traditional hardcore and open a more melodic, expansive, and emotional path within the scene.

Labels, community, and his own school

In addition to his role as a DJ and producer, Dr. Peacock has been an infrastructure builder. In 2013, he launched Peacock Records, a platform from which he reinforced his own catalog and supported new producers. He later expanded the ecosystem with Frenchcore Worldwide and Euphoric Frenchcore Records, consolidating a network of artists, releases, and audiences around contemporary frenchcore. Albums such as Trip Around the World, Acid Bomb, Medication Time, The Doc’s Experiment, and Tripping with Dr. Peacock show a broad, collaborative, and constantly expanding trajectory, with names like Sefa, Billx, The Sickest Squad, JKLL, Rooler, Lil Texas, and JDX within his creative orbit.

From rave chaos to the symphonic dimension

The big stage leap came with Peacock in Concert, a format that unites frenchcore with live musicians, vocals, strings, piano, and a dramaturgy closer to a symphonic show than a conventional DJ set. That concept has reinforced his presence at festivals such as Defqon.1, Qlimax, Thunderdome, Dominator, Decibel Outdoor, Masters of Hardcore, and Tomorrowland. At Qlimax 2019, he opened a historic door for frenchcore, and at Defqon.1 2025, he brought Tripping with Peacock in Concert to the opening ceremony of the RED stage. He currently maintains a unique position: that of a global ambassador capable of uniting rhythmic violence, melodic emotion, community, and spectacle in a single vision of hardcore.
