The bass that had no dancefloor in Mexico City

When dubstep and bass barely existed in Mexican venues, Jessica Audiffred started playing a sound that the local audience didn't associate with a DJ booth. In Mexico City, she grew up between nu-metal, music television, and the early electronic sounds of the 2000s; later, she recognized in Flux Pavilion, Excision, Doctor P, Caspa, and Circus Records the mix she was looking for. For over a decade, she has turned that rarity into a mainstage identity: sets without pre-programming, drops, and a crossover of bass house, dubstep, and festival anthems.

Circus Records, A Records, and the home of Mexican bass

In 2015, Yusef Tarzi and Duane Buriani-Gennai, then at MAYD and today heading her management at The Shalizi Group, signed her. In 2016, Flux Pavilion cited her among his global bets for the DJ Mag Top 100, brought her to Circus Records, and commissioned her to remix Feel Your Love alongside NGHTMRE. That same year, she founded A Records, a platform for producers from Mexico and Latin America that today releases artists from all over the world and has headlined a Mexican label takeover at Lost Lands.

In parallel, she built the scene she didn't find when she started. Mad House was born as a party in a warehouse for two hundred people, and in 2022, it gathered more than 5,000 attendees at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City, consolidating itself as the country's first major bass event. Work as a national DJ for HP and Beats Audio took her to Miami and Boston; Excision invited her to remix and share the stage at Bass Canyon in 2019. Her catalog has been filled with collaborations with Excision (Rise, with Leah Culver), DJ Diesel (No Fear), Flux Pavilion, Adventure Club, Walshy Fire, SampliFire, and GG Magree (Don't Speak, on Monstercat). She also signed campaign music for Adidas in Latin America.

From the Palladium to Rave New World

That sound has reached Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival, Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival—where she debuted in Miami in 2025, in a b2b with Alleycvt—, Lost Lands, Beyond Wonderland, and Forbidden Kingdom, in addition to a North American tour of 50 cities. At the Hollywood Palladium, she signed her biggest headline show and became the first woman in dubstep to headline that venue. Billboard chose her as Dance Rookie of the Month in March 2025; Mixmag Brasil dedicated a cover to her; MDM voted her number one in Mexico.

On April 30, 2025, she released her debut album, Rave New World, on A Records with Create Music Group: twelve tracks that revisit the rave of her adolescence—trance, techno, and dubstep included—with Nostalgix, JEANIE, Mila Falls, chae, Lexy Panterra, and SampliFire, among others. The album marks a turn toward a broader bass sound, with bridges to trap and future house, without abandoning bass. Today, she combines a global tour, WME booking, and a label that no longer just gives a voice to Mexico, but to a Latin generation of bass.
