Joëlla Jackson's groove house is recognized for its warm, percussive, and highly physical energy, built for venues where the dancefloor responds to every detail. From Amsterdam, she has moved from local booths to European and international line-ups with an identity that unites house, deep basslines, emotionally charged vocals, and globally influenced percussion. Her musical language stems from a broad education, marked by soul, disco, and house, and by an early connection to the Dirty House mixtapes that fueled her interest in club culture.

A career built from the booth

Her journey began practically, playing at private gatherings, bars, and clubs in the city, until she established herself as a regular presence within the Dutch scene. That progression was not built solely on the local circuit: during a stint in Egypt and Dubai, she performed on a weekly basis, an experience that allowed her to sharpen her selection and consolidate her own sound, more confident and oriented toward constant movement. Upon returning to the Netherlands, her name began to appear on increasingly relevant line-ups, especially within a club ecosystem where groove-heavy house and a direct connection to the dancefloor hold central importance.

Shelter, festivals, and her own catalog

Joëlla Jackson's breakthrough was reinforced by performances at venues and brands such as Shelter Amsterdam, where she held a residency in 2022, as well as dates at Awakenings, Elrow, Strafwerk, Loveland, Music On, and Creamfields. She has also shared the stage with artists such as Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Kerri Chandler, and Marco Carola, expanding her presence to stages in Europe, North Africa, the Caribbean, and Ibiza. Her most recent phase combines an international schedule with her own music: since 2023, she has released material on labels such as Cécille, Cocoa, Libero Records, and Deeperfect, with releases like Attention, Look At Me Now, Solo Contigo, and Stay Logic. Represented by Meanwhile, she maintains an upward trajectory within contemporary house, with a proposal designed for high-intensity booths, yet sustained by musicality, percussion, and a very direct reading of the dancefloor.
