The embrace after Lowlands

At Lowlands, the festival they had attended as fans, the set closed with an embrace of disbelief. NewTone turns a schoolyard friendship in Amsterdam into euphoric, punchy, and deep house, with tracks that seek that wow moment on the dancefloor. In the booth, they challenge each other with records the other hasn't heard yet; in the studio, that same complicity sustains a sound that fuses the classic energy of house with a contemporary groove.

Loosdrecht, Agrio and the Top 3

They met in primary school and, by high school, they moved from hip hop beats in a basement to school parties, Leidseplein, and their own night at Disco Dolly. A trip to Loveland changed their scale. They then locked themselves in a house by the lakes of Loosdrecht for two weeks to produce, a ritual they still use. Their first EPs jumped to the Beatport Top 3. Burning Inside, Astrocyte, and Colours of Music were released on Tjade's label Agrio Tracks, with prior support from Job Jobse, Carista, and Benwal. Wagwan arrived on elrow Limited; All Night on Spinning Beats; 6 Million Ways To Die on Rapid Trax; Energy and Samba, alongside Sam Alfred, on Bébé Recordings. They have also worked with Ritmo Fatale, Freddi, and DART, and names like Palms Trax and Chris Stüssy have backed their music.

All-nighters at home and DGTL

In Amsterdam, they hold all-nighters at RadioRadio, Nachbar, Paradiso, Skatecafe, and Pacific, and have played at Lofi, Thuishaven, Colorado Charlie, PALET, and Mondo Disko in Madrid. Tomorrowland's One World Radio placed them among their Future 4 artists. They have toured Australia and, in 2026, they played a full set at DGTL Amsterdam, on the NDSM docks, in addition to all-nighters at Shelter.

C-Side and the new tones

On C-Side Records, they have released Nebula EP and continue to mix classic house, progressive, and dancefloor groove without being pigeonholed into a single subgenre. International booking is handled by MEANWHILE. The project remains anchored in the local scene—cycling home at dawn—and in a discography that already travels from Amsterdam to dancefloors on the other side of the world.
