A drop gag that snuck into Skrillex's DJ booths

LEFT TO RIGHT emerged from a Twitch stream as a parody of an endless drop, featuring a cut of Soulja Boy's Crank That, and ended up in the sets of Skrillex, Fred again.., Dom Dolla, Disclosure, and Chris Lake. The Insomniac single (2022) established Odd Mob's method: club house with a sense of humor, heavy bass, and an ear for turning a popular sample into a dancefloor weapon.

Hottest 100, Central Station, and the solo transition

Raised in Redland Bay, on the Brisbane bay, he started DJing at 16. At 19, a fourteen-minute mix opened the doors to Faster Louder and a performance on the Red Bull stage at Big Day Out. In 2013, Odd Mob was born as a duo with Robbie Jacobs: The Tribe and Jungla were released via Central Station Records. The 2014 hit was Is It A Banger?, which went viral with the Aziz Ansari character from Parks and Recreation and entered triple j's Hottest 100. The EP Diverse Universe (2015) and ARIA club number 1s like Into You —with Starley— and Feel So Good solidified that first Australian stage. Jacobs left the project in 2017; since then, Odd Mob has operated as a solo act.

Club Rompas, the gold of Get Busy, and HYPERBEAM

The dancefloor profile hardened with the Club Rompas EP (Tinted Records, 2023) and with Losing Control, alongside OMNOM on John Summit's Experts Only, which reached number 1 on Beatport. The official rework of Sean Paul's Get Busy (2024) surpassed 100 million streams, topped club charts in Australia and the UK, and received an ARIA gold record. In 2025, Won't Be Possible with Tiësto and Goodboys was the most-played dance track in the United States; the tandem with OMNOM, under the name HYPERBEAM, released an authorized remake of Gorillaz's Dare. The list of official remixes includes John Summit, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, Sub Focus, Adam Beyer and Green Velvet, Sofi Tukker, and ODESZA. In parallel, the alias GD Vandal debuted with Been Dreaming.

From the Hollywood Palladium to the Tomorrowland mainstage

The tour has passed through Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Hard Summer, Shambhala, Space Miami, Parookaville, and Tomorrowland, with a residency at the Wynn in Las Vegas. In 2024, he sold out the Hollywood Palladium; in 2025, The Shrine in Los Angeles. In July 2026, he took the Tomorrowland mainstage. He continues to release on Tinted Records and Central Station, with a catalog that already counts in the hundreds of millions of streams and a place of his own in contemporary club house. In 2023, he ranked 42nd in the 1001 Tracklist Top 100 Producers; in 2026, he won the Breakthrough Artist award at the Queensland Music Awards.
