Tony Romera

A Lyon-based producer with a dancefloor instinct

Tony Romera, the stage name of Anthony Romera, is a French DJ, producer, and remixer born in Lyon. Self-taught in the studio, he began producing music in his bedroom in the mid-2000s using FL Studio, influenced by the French Touch school, French house, 90s hip hop, funk, and the energy of punk. His first steps as a DJ took place in Lyon clubs, with early appearances in venues like César Palace, before expanding his reach to other French cities, Switzerland, and Belgium.

From early remixes to the international circuit

His breakthrough came in 2012, when his remix alongside Bartosz Brenes of Breaking Up by Chuckie & Promise Land projected him beyond the local circuit. That same year, he was recognized by Only For DJ's as one of the great French promises and released Pandor on Protocol Recordings, Nicky Romero's label. Since then, he has built an extensive discography where house, tech house, bass house, electro house, and melodic nods coexist, with music released or remixed on labels such as 17:44 Records, Strictly Rhythm, Cr2, Monstercat, Toolroom, Insomniac, OWSLA, Confession, Defected, Black Book, COCO, Issues, Solid Grooves Raw, and Fool's Gold.

Sans Merci, Bellecour and Introspection

In 2016 he founded Sans Merci, a platform created to release his own music and that of close artists, and during that same period, he developed the duo Bellecour with Keeld, a project whose name refers to the Bellecour square in Lyon. With Bellecour, he explored a more collective and direct club facet, while his solo career continued to grow with releases, official remixes, and support from international names. In 2021 he released Introspection on Monstercat, a sixteen-track album that expanded his palette beyond bass house, incorporating passages of electro, disco, hip hop, drum and bass, and melodic electronica.

House Delivery and a new groove era

In 2022 he collaborated with Ibrahim Maalouf and Flavia Coelho on El Mundo, performed for the first time at Tomorrowland, and reached the global number 1 on Beatport with his remix of Raw for Toolroom. His international reach includes performances at Tomorrowland, Tomorrowland Winter, EDC Las Vegas, Electrobeach Festival, Sunburn, Nameless Festival, Olympia de París, Lotto Arena, and tours across America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. In 2025 he opened a new chapter with House Delivery, his own label dedicated to house and tech house with a marked groove. In 2026 he maintains activity with releases like Pop It alongside Detlef and long sets recorded at clubs like Le Bikini and elrow Toulouse, consolidating an artistic maturity focused on the dancefloor, swing, and contemporary French identity.
