The aesthetic of OMRI. is recognized by a mix of hypnotic grooves, house pulse, and psychedelic textures that connect the energy of the dancefloor with a very personal narrative. His figure has consolidated itself within the Tel Aviv scene as part of a generation that has taken the local sound to international circuits, relying on long-form sets, elastic percussion, and a way of building tension closer to a journey than simple club impact.

From trance to house pulse

Before developing his current identity, Omri Gueta grew up surrounded by instruments and music: drums, guitar, and piano were part of his learning from childhood, while drum and bass, MTV, The Prodigy, and Beastie Boys marked his first references. His entry into electronic music came through trance and open-air raves in Israel. He started producing psytrance, toured South and Central America at a very young age, and, after a decisive stint in Tulum, oriented his language towards house. That transition explains a good part of his sound: psychedelia inherited from trance, physical bass, lysergic melodies, and a reading of the dancefloor very focused on the groove.

Communities, labels, and connected points

In Tel Aviv, he participated in the construction of his own spaces like NEKOODOT, a weekly series born after the lockdowns, and More than Friends, the event series he shared with Mita Gami, Roi Zarhi, Nariz, Baroth, and Tomer Sandner between 2019 and 2023, with nights that gathered more than a thousand people on weekdays. In parallel, he was shaping a discography that passed through labels such as Rumors, Disco Halal, Mobilee, Nervous Records, REALM, Crosstown Rebels, and Hot Creations.

His recent stage has notably accelerated his projection. Dance All Night (Don’t Wanna Fight) on Hot Creations reached number 1 on the Beatport Indie Dance chart, while Nothing Wrong on Crosstown Rebels reinforced his profile with support from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. Jamie Jones highlighted Musika as one of his favorite songs of 2024, and OMRI. has continued to expand his map with collaborations alongside Adam Ten, Mita Gami, Moscoman, Yamagucci, Rafael, Vintage Culture, Dafna Shilon, and Nevve.

The Collecting Dots constellation

With Collecting Dots Records, OMRI. has turned his universe into his own platform to release music, articulate community, and project showcases. The label started with Mission Impossible and has functioned as a natural extension of a career already linked to spaces like Burning Man, Mayan Warrior, Club Space, Hï Ibiza, UNVRS, Pacha Ibiza, and Green Valley. His current position is that of a producer and DJ in full international expansion, situated between modern house, indie dance, and psychedelic-leaning tech house, with a recognizable identity both in the booth and in the studio.
