The surgical precision and warm pulse of his sessions place Ryan Elliott in an unusual spot: Detroit as rhythmic memory and Berlin as a long-term laboratory. Raised in Carleton, just outside Detroit, he absorbed rap, hip hop, local radio, and club culture before immersing himself in the Michigan scene. Contact with booths like Motor Lounge and the legacy of artists like Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, or Richie Hawtin helped him understand DJing as an architecture of mixing, continuity, and controlled pressure.

Goodnight Gracie, Spectral, and the European leap

His career took shape in Ann Arbor, where he began a weekly residency at Goodnight Gracie alongside Matthew Dear. That period was decisive: it allowed him to play regularly, build criteria in front of a real dancefloor, and enter the environment of Ghostly International and Spectral Sound through Sam Valenti. By the late 2000s, he was already performing frequently in Europe and, in 2009, he moved to Berlin with a record collection that would mark his new phase.
