From rave culture to the functional studio

His career grew around a very direct relationship with the dancefloor. Before establishing himself in the booth, Jay John Bradford absorbed the energy of UK raves and began producing after discovering FL Studio in his teens. That practical learning explains much of his language: tracks built to be tested in sessions, effective structures, recognizable vocals, and a punch designed to move large rooms without losing underground character.

DFCW, COCO and a signature sound

The turning point came with DFCW, released in 2019, a track that opened his name to the international scene and continued to grow in clubs, on radio, and on specialized platforms. In parallel, his own universe COCO functions as a label and party platform, with an aesthetic centered on minimal/deep tech and a selection designed from the booth.

Festivals, Ibiza and the transatlantic circuit

Live, SOSA has solidified his profile with high-energy sets at Creamfields, Coachella, Hard Summer, Sunwaves, and key spaces in Ibiza, as well as dates at venues like Printworks, The Warehouse Project, Club Space Miami, and Factory Town. His sessions maintain a recognizable idea: hypnotic groove, constant pressure, and transitions designed to sustain the dancefloor over long periods. With tours between the UK, Europe, and the United States, and with COCO expanding as a club brand and label, SOSA occupies a clear position within the new generation of artists who have taken British house into a more minimalist, direct, and global territory.
