Brainwash, Escape and the Saturday groove in Amsterdam

Brainwash nights at Escape Amsterdam have relied for seasons on his reading of the dancefloor: a danceable, soulful and technical house, designed to link classics and current hits without losing the pulse. In July 2025, he performed an all night long session at that Rembrandtplein venue and continues to appear on the lineup alongside house residents like Raymundo, Saxy Mr. S and MC Haits.

Square, beach and British labels in The Hague

He was raised in the Bezuidenhout neighborhood, in The Hague. At eight years old he started with the guitar; shortly after, he discovered house on the computer, first mixing other people's tracks and soon producing his own. At fifteen, he played at the grand café Byblos in Het Plein and broke into the local scene: three years as a resident DJ on Fridays at Club Westwood and a period working for Lucien Foort.

From programming Millers to opening Ministry of Sound

With Exclusive Productions, the company he started with his partner, he went from DJing to programming. At Millers, then the trendy club on the Plein, he brought nights from Ministry of Sound, Defected in the House, Hed Kandi and Wicked Jazz Sounds. The same criteria led him to the pavilions of Scheveningen —Buena Vista Beach Club and Boomerang Beach— and in 2011 he opened the Ministry of Sound World Tour at Millers, with Shane Kehoe and Marnix from Loveland.

Nervous, Blacksoul and the sax of Saxy Mr. S

In 2011 Nervous Records released Saxolita, with Saxy Mr. S. That same year Blacksoul Music released the EP Wrong With Us, with Wrong With Us, Black Tie and Banga Egypt. In 2012 came El Rubio and Amarula on Wazzup? Records, a remix of All About You for Gabriel, Chappell and Castellon, and credits as Thomas Hensbroek Collective —including Barokka and Black Tie— on house compilations. On Beatport, he left tech house and house charts.

Dinner with sax and après-ski

Today he splits his live performances between the Dutch club scene and more theatrical formats. He is a regular at Café in the City in Amsterdam, where he shares the stage with Saxy Mr. S at dinner-concerts and brunches. The same tandem reappears at Brainwash. Outside the Netherlands, he has taken that festive house to mountain spots like Seppi's, in Gerlos. As a DJ and producer, he moves between house, deep house, tech house and soulful house, with an identity more focused on the dancefloor than the catalog: adapting the aesthetic, tempo and the audience's memory until no one is left standing still.
