The first female signing for BKJN

In the Dutch festival hardcore scene, Yoshiko has established a recognizable signature: brutal kicks, runway aesthetics, and a stage presence that asks for no permission. Born in Italy and raised between Japanese and Brazilian roots, she took the name of her aunt Yoshiko—a central figure in the Japanese branch of the family who emigrated to Brazil after World War II—and turned it into an artistic identity. At twenty-two, after more than twenty-five trips to foreign festivals, she moved to Amsterdam to make a living from the dancefloor. BKJN Bookings presents her as the first female artist in its history.

Traxtorm, Pop It and the mainstage

She started listening to hardstyle at fourteen and quickly jumped to hardcore. At eighteen, she crossed over to the Netherlands to experience a real Dutch festival and strung together dates at Masters of Hardcore, Dominator, and Footworxx. The professional leap came in 2017 at e-mission. In 2018, she joined the Traxtorm family with the support of F. Noize and Da Mouth of Madness: in February, she hit the mainstage at Hardcore 4 Life, in April Hardcore Radio, and in May Harmony of Hardcore. That summer, she released her first single, Pop It, on Traxtorm, and the circuit of Defqon.1, e-mission, and The Qontinent opened up suddenly. She also appeared on the Q-dance Presents: NEXT series.

Insolent and the global circuit

On October 16, 2025, she released Insolent, her first album, on Black Reaper Records: a record featuring collaborations with Noxiouz, Anderex, Lekkerfaces, The Dark Horror, Lil Texas, Da Mouth of Madness, Antenora, Mind Compressor, and F. Noize. In parallel, she has signed Crash Into You with Crypton, Freaks Out with Alee—where she debuted her own voice—, I Could Be Yoshi, Disturbia, or Bubblegum with Dr Donk. Today, she tours Defqon.1, Dominator, REBiRTH, Intents Festival, Knockout Outdoor, Tomorrowland, and Teletech, with dates outside Europe in Australia, Mexico, Korea, and the United States. In the club, her hour-and-a-half breakfast closing set at Gotec summarizes her current moment: hardcore, uptempo, and hard techno without being pigeonholed, with a parallel career in fashion and modeling that fuels her stage image.
