Below the cliff, by the sea

The John Lennon descent and the largest pedestrian bridge on the Costa Verde bring the public down from the San Miguel boardwalk to an esplanade of over 20,000 m². There, Costa 21—also known as Multiespacio Costa 21—presents itself as Lima's first multispace: three areas, a synthetic turf dance floor, side bleachers, eight entrances, and the Pacific as a backdrop. It is not a nightclub with a fixed booth. It is an open-air venue designed for concerts, circuses, corporate events, and massive dance nights by the sea.

When Tiësto changed stadiums

In October 2023, the Tiësto concert with Bassjackers and Sam Feldt moved from the San Marcos Stadium to this newly launched esplanade. That move placed the venue on the Peruvian electronic music circuit: a space capable of absorbing a large-format dance night without being a stadium or a nightclub. Since then, it has hosted international tours whenever Lima needs an open-air stop.

ULTRA, Guetta and the open-air floor

In April 2025, ULTRA Peru held its third edition here, with a Main Stage, a RESISTANCE techno and house tent, and a third tech house and Latin house zone. Over two days, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Axwell, Oliver Heldens, Adam Beyer, ARTBAT, and Miss Monique performed. In October of that same year, David Guetta set up the Monolith Tour, an immersive show of LEDs and kinetic structures on the same floor. The sound system is installed by each tour. The venue also programs trap, rock, pop, and cumbia, from Duki to New Year's Eve parties facing the surf.

Open, fill, dismantle

The box office is at the entrance and is open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00; the venue only opens for scheduled events. There is private parking, bars, and a gastronomic partnership with Otto Kunz. The ATU reinforces departures with the special Bus Stage service, because regular public transport routes do not operate on the beach circuit. Costa 21 functions as event infrastructure: it lights up with every production, fills up at the foot of the Costa Verde, and shuts down when the tours leave.
