The new release marks the beginning of a new artistic phase for Álvaro Marteen and Ale Lozano's first foray into electronic music and Tech-House.
There are nights that start without any plan and end when the sun has already risen. That feeling of letting go, losing track of time, and not wanting the night to end is the starting point of "No Puedo Dormir", the new single by Álvaro Marteen and Ale Lozano, which will be released on November 6th via Physical Presents.
The track was born from a years-long friendship and a collaboration that, almost unintentionally, grew into a shared project. Álvaro invited Ale to the studio to test some ideas and record vocals over one of the songs he was working on. From that first session, everything began to flow naturally, and the concept of "No Puedo Dormir" took shape around a phrase that would end up giving the track its name.
Musically, "No Puedo Dormir" moves between Tech-House and electronic music, combining dancefloor energy with a lead vocal and a story recognizable to anyone who has experienced a night in Madrid that seems to have no end. The track portrays with a lighthearted tone that moment when going out without too many expectations ends up becoming a night that stretches until dawn. There is even room for humor, with the figure of that neighbor apparently annoyed by the noise who, in reality, might just be angry about not having been invited.
A new phase for Álvaro Marteen
For Álvaro Marteen, "No Puedo Dormir" also has a special meaning: it is the first release of a new phase in his artistic project, after months of work and having developed different songs that explore a new sonic direction. The artist had been looking for a track where the voice would play a leading role for some time, something he found in the collaboration with Ale Lozano. The vocals were recorded at the end of the summer of 2025 and, after months of versions, adjustments, and production work, the track is finally ready to see the light of day.
Álvaro Marteen's career is marked by a strong technical background and constant evolution. At just 17 years old, he moved to the Netherlands to study music production and later graduated as a sound engineer. In 2020, under the alias Kaotik Mind, he developed a career within Hardstyle, with different releases and collaborations, before starting a new phase as Álvaro Marteen. Since then, he has performed in some of the main clubs in Madrid, has released music on labels linked to artists like Showtek, and has made his first international performances in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
His current proposal combines dance music, vocals, and immersive loops, accompanied by a stage presence that incorporates visuals and a distinct aesthetic. An identity that seeks to go beyond the music and also poses a reflection on modern routine, the lack of time, and the need to reclaim spaces of personal freedom.
Ale Lozano enters the electronic scene
For Ale Lozano, "No Puedo Dormir" represents a change of direction. A singer, journalist, and content creator based in Madrid, Ale has several previous releases linked mainly to pop and a digital community of over 140,000 followers between TikTok and Instagram. Now she enters electronic music and Tech-House for the first time, showing an artistic facet different from what her audience knew until now.
Ale herself explains that the contrast between both artists is precisely one of the keys to the project: while for Álvaro it represents the beginning of a new musical stage, for her it means facing the challenge of exploring a completely different territory and entering the electronic scene for the first time.
