Denis de Galdo Troyano, known worldwide by his stage name Dennis Cruz, was born on March 28, 1983, in the vibrant capital of Madrid, Spain. His immersion in music began early; at just 17 years old, Dennis started DJing as a passionate hobby while pursuing his studies in sound engineering. During his twenties, his prowess in the recording studio led him to collaborate closely with various rock bands and hip-hop artists, producing and refining their sounds. However, his true calling was always linked to electronic music. Among his great formative influences are legendary figures such as Oscar Mulero, whose sets in the Spanish capital he attended with fervor, as well as the unmistakable rhythms of Michael Jackson. This eclectic mix of genres, spanning from funk and dub to the warm rhythms of Latin music, would lay the foundations for his characteristic and infectious sound style.

Rise in the Electronic Scene

Dennis Cruz's career as an electronic music producer officially took off in November 2010. With an innate ability to create irresistible basslines and hypnotic rhythms, he quickly carved out an indispensable niche in the underground scene. His style, which masterfully fuses Tech House and Techno with subtle deep touches, began to capture the attention of the world's leading record labels. Throughout the decade, Dennis has released acclaimed productions on renowned labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Moon Harbour, Solid Grooves, Snatch! Records, and Deeperfect. Among his most iconic and streamed tracks are global hits such as El Sueño (with Martina Camargo), Bonito, Mad, and To Burn. His long-awaited debut album, titled Roots and released in 2021 on the Crosstown Rebels label, consolidated his position not only as a creator of dancefloor-breaking anthems but as an artist with profound musical maturity and an overwhelming live act.

Business Ventures and Global Recognition

Beyond his extraordinary achievements in the studio, Dennis Cruz is a visionary entrepreneur within the music industry. He is the founder of the successful record labels Lemon-Aid Music and co-creator of the MÜSE brand (alongside producer Eddy M), in addition to leading his recent event project and record label BotaniQ. Likewise, he is a co-founder of the artist management agency Loud Creative Agency. His undeniable impact on the scene has been rewarded with numerous industry awards and nominations, including prestigious recognition at the DJ Awards (Best Tech House Artist and Best Deep Tech) and the Vicious Music Awards, in addition to consistently leading the demanding Beatport sales charts and being one of the most charted artists on Resident Advisor. Today, he is part of the acclaimed and explosive duo Golfos alongside the British artist PAWSA, and his presence is mandatory on the lineups of the best clubs and festivals on the planet, from Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Kappa FuturFestival to his residencies at iconic venues such as Hï Ibiza, Club Space Miami, and fabric London.
