The sonic memory of the Spanish dancefloor has a recognizable voice in DJ Neil: he mixes, communicates, and contextualizes club culture from the booth, the radio, and television. Born in London and musically raised between Barcelona and Madrid, his professional career began in 1994 after an initial stint as a light-jockey. He soon moved to the decks in venues like Skylab and began stringing together residencies in key spaces of the Spanish electronic night, including ACTV, Terminal, Central, Orbital, and Millenium, before consolidating his presence in Madrid with sessions at Splass, X-Kándalo, Privilege-X, and Mondino.

Scorpia, vinyl, and mass culture

His most remembered era came hand-in-hand with Scorpia Central del Sonido, where he established an identity closely linked to progressive trance, techno, hard trance, mákina, and the remember imaginary. The production Go Ahead and compilations like Scorpia The Rebirth helped put him on the national map during the years of greatest dance expansion in Spain. He is also associated with series and mixes such as Temprogressive, Deejay Dance Compilation, Club Nation 2005, and Aida, a discography that reflects both his facet as a selector and his role in the dissemination of the club sound of the late nineties and early two thousands.

From Música Sí to Loca FM

DJ Neil's popularity was not limited to the dancefloor. In 2001, he made the leap to TVE1 on Música Sí, a key television showcase for bringing electronic music to the general public. In parallel, he developed a career as a broadcaster and communicator, with stints at Loca FM and Máxima FM, in addition to direct involvement in the professional scene by founding the magazine Deejay Magazine and the Deejaymags awards. This dual condition as a DJ and tastemaker explains much of his influence within the national scene.

La Termo and the current pulse of remember

In his current stage, he maintains intense activity as a musical director and presenter at Loca FM, where he hosts La Termo and Lo Que Me Sale del PEN, a space that has become a meeting point for the remember audience. His sessions continue to tour venues and festivals across the peninsula, with appearances at events like Medusa, Los Álamos, DayDream, A Summer Story, and BBF, in addition to notable international performances at Street Parade in Zurich and Love Parade in Berlin.
