Resident at RSO and [selected]
At the parties he programs with his crew and in the booth at Berlin's RSO, Frederic. has turned a dancefloor friendship into one of the most recognizable signatures in European rave techno. What began in 2015 as a birthday celebration among five DJs that no one wanted to hire is today [selected]: a collective, label, and club family, with him leading the programming while his co-founder Jonas manages the catalog.
Fadercuts, old school groove, and trance detours
His sound starts from a mental and rave-oriented techno, with old school groove as a foundation and escapes into playful trance or euphoric hardcore when the room demands it. At the mixer, he is identified by his fadercuts: sharp cuts with the channel fader that break the track and return it to the body of the dancefloor. He does not build sets with a rigid grid; he looks for records for all scenarios and lets himself be carried away by the energy of the night, even when there is a broadcast.
From Tresor to HÖR, Glitch, and the European circuit
As a resident of RSO and Grelle Forelle in Vienna, and as host of the Selected and Durch nights, he maintains his own circuit in Berlin and beyond. He has played at Tresor, Fold in London, Mondo Disko and Razzmatazz, Radion in Amsterdam, and on platforms like HÖR, Boiler Room, Blackworks, and Teletech. In 2024, he took the main stage at Glitch Festival and toured with MCR-T, with shared sessions alongside Caiva, Nastaran, Carmen Electro, or Trancemaster Krause. At HÖR, he maintains a regular presence, with over a dozen sets broadcast from the Berlin studio and events like the pop-up with Sennheiser during Amsterdam Dance Event.
Fainted, Raise Records, and Rather Be With You
The EP Fainted (2022, Selected), with remixes by MCR-T, Caiva, and Julian Muller, cemented his name in the label's catalog. In 2024, Funk Right and Get Out arrived via Raise Records. In 2025, Rather Be With You returned to Selected with the TD2 collaboration alongside MCR-T and a remix by Mika Heggemann. He has also signed with HEISSS Berlin, among others, No Summer Hit 2024. The arc is coherent: peak-time percussion, melodic tension, and an ear open to contemporary rave, always in service of the dancefloor.
Fusion, Monegros, and Tomorrowland on the horizon
His 2026 schedule places him at Fusion Festival, Monegros, Delta Festival, Aquasella, and Tomorrowland, in a Face2Face with Emilija at the Cage Stage. Analog represents him in Spain and North America. He remains, more than a headliner brand, the guy who sets up the party with his friends and then gets behind the decks, faithful to the idea that community is felt in the atmosphere of the room.
