From a set of decks in lockdown to the Ibiza Rocks pool

In the middle of the pandemic, a set of decks that her father bought for lockdown ended up becoming the starting point for Issy Smith. Without having even stepped foot in a nightclub, this DJ from Sussex started mixing at home and, in just a few years, has become an Ibiza Rocks resident, in San Antonio, and one of the regular faces of the island's daytime pool parties.

Dancefloor house, anthems and the Ministry of Sound booths

Her sound is designed for the dancefloor: club house, tech house, commercial house, afro house and funky house, with melodic nods. Her sets combine new releases with anthems from various decades, long breakdowns and drops designed to get hands in the air. That versatility can be heard in both long warm-ups and main room slots, pool parties and more daytime sets.

In London, she is a regular at Ministry of Sound, where she has played in The Box and Room 103. On January 16, 2026, she was part of Citizens Vol. 4, as part of the club's 35th anniversary programming, alongside Chapter & Verse and Sam Supplier. On July 25, 2026, she opened in The Box for Will Atkinson and recorded a set of over an hour; a fifteen-minute cut from that same night served as her entry for the venue's Boxed In competition.

San Antonio, Eden and the Balearic season

Her residency at Ibiza Rocks has placed her alongside Switch Disco, Harlee, Craig David, Joel Corry, DJ EZ, P.O.U or Dizzee Rascal. In 2025 she played in the main room of Eden Ibiza and in 2026 she holds the Ibiza Anthems Pool Party on Saturdays on a weekly basis. She has also taken the format off the island: in February 2026 she played at Dope Snow, in Val Thorens, and has recorded sets at Egg London.

Our House, Mondays on Select Radio

Outside the island, she presents Our House on Select Radio, every two Mondays from 16:00 to 18:00, a nearly two-hour slot where she mixes contemporary house with nineties blocks. The sets are archived on SoundCloud, along with booth recordings from Ministry of Sound and Ibiza Rocks parties. In December 2025, she was a guest on Flex FM's Live & Loud.

Classes in villas and the next record

In the summer of 2026, she combined her Balearic residency with private DJ classes for villa guests in Ibiza, while continuing to study criminology and forensic science at the University of Surrey. With over 150,000 followers on TikTok and a verified Instagram, her stated next step is to delve into more melodic sets, jump to festival stages and release original music.
