Neukölln as a resonance chamber

The physical pressure of the kick drums, industrial tension, and an almost ritualistic conception of the dance floor run through the career of Kobosil. Raised in the Berlin district of Neukölln, he moved from the German rap of his childhood to discovering electronic music around the age of fourteen. By seventeen, he was already DJing house and techno; his first entry into Berghain a year later definitively shaped his professional ambition. There, he established a relationship with nd_baumecker, a bond that led to his remix of Silo by Barker & Baumecker, released by Ostgut Ton in 2013. That same year, he launched the RK label, released RK3, and debuted at a Berghain Klubnacht.

From the Berghain underground to a language of his own

Between December 2014 and 2019, he was part of the Berghain resident team. His catalog from that period established a recognizable identity: elemental percussion, abrasive synthesis, hypnotic tension, and a darkness oriented toward physical impact. After - ----- on Unterton and MDR 10 on Marcel Dettmann Records, he consolidated his relationship with Ostgut Ton through 91, the 2016 album We Grow, You Decline, and the EP 105. That work expanded his range with ambient, melodic, and introspective passages without abandoning club functionality. RK later evolved into R - Label Group, a platform for Berlin producers that closed at the end of 2023 after a decade of activity.

Darkness, ecstasy, and acceleration

His music is articulated around the clash between darkness and ecstasy, fueled by EBM, noise, and industrial music. Over time, that base accelerated toward hard techno and schranz, although his sets retain a precise dramaturgy and a marked sense of accumulation. Official recordings like Hard Sunset Rave at HIVE Festival 2025, the Gotec set, and Emotional Schranz Set at HIVE Festival 2026 document that evolution. In parallel, collaborations such as Luzifer with Ufo361, Eiskalt with KUKO, and Radiance with Ueberrest connect his language with different areas of electronic and urban culture.

44 beyond fashion

After turning his merchandising into a broader proposal, he promoted 44 Label Group, a name inspired by the old postal code of Neukölln, as a fashion project linked to his musical imagery. The 44 identity also grew as a label, event series, and community. In 2026, he announced his departure from the Italian fashion company, maintaining musical activity and events associated with 44 under his direction. Since 2023, he has shared the founding of Tote Sonne with Klangkuenstler, a booking agency and label that represents both artists and other names in contemporary techno. Releases like BR3ATH3 in 2025 and 300G in 2026 place his recent phase in a zone of maximum intensity, while his constant presence in international clubs and festivals keeps him as a central figure of current hard techno.
