Prime time on KISS Dance

Anthem house and microphone UK garage intersect in the sessions of Majestic, one of the most recognizable voices of the weekend on KISS Dance, where he occupies the prime time on Friday and Saturday (19:00-21:00). Before that slot, his school was pirate radio and the North London garage nights: at twelve years old he had his first turntables; by fifteen he was already DJing and rapping as an MC. That dual identity—dancefloor producer and booth entertainer—runs through his entire career.

Rasputin and the leap to the charts

His first single, Kebab Riddim (2005), and the EP Topgear (2006) opened a club phase. With Wideboys he released In the VIP (2009); his voice ended up sampled on Ruffneck (Full Flex) by Skrillex and on Get Hyper by Droideka, which entered the British Top 40. As a producer, Creeping in the Dark with Jungle 70 and Naughty Sesh with Tigermonkey gave him entries on the UK Singles Chart, and the compilations Pure House & Garage (New State) consolidated him as a selector.

In 2021 his version of Rasputin with Boney M. went viral on TikTok, reached No. 11 on the UK Singles Chart and went platinum in the UK and Switzerland, as well as gold in Germany and the United States. The music video featured Bimini Bon-Boulash. Later came Time to Groove (with an echo on Love Island), Skank All Night with Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Million Dollar Bill with Beyond Chicago and Alex Mills, and Set My Heart on Fire with The Jammin Kid and Céline Dion (No. 39 in the UK). In 2024 Defected released his My House EP alongside Mike Dunn, Todd Terry and Barbara Tucker; in 2025 he reappeared alongside Skrillex on DNB TING.

Limitless, Ministry of Sound and radio

Limitless, his live brand—a hybrid of concert and house, garage and bass rave—has sold out five dates in London, including KOKO. He has filled O2 Academy Islington, Scala, Electric and Kentish Town Forum, and has played at EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields, Boardmasters, Global Gathering and We Are FSTVL. In 2015 he shared a Boiler Room with DJ EZ and supported The Prodigy at the Isle of Wight Festival. Ministry of Sound has dedicated its own sets to him and a b2b with Diplo at KISS Fest. He has remixed Craig David, Diplo, Charli XCX, Joel Corry and the No. 1 by Ava Max Sweet But Psycho. On talkSPORT he co-presents The Final Word with Maj and Pards with Alan Pardew and is an ambassador for the British NGO CALM.
